"Good morning, Aileen. You didn't stay up all night watching anime again, did you...?" asked Vahn, turning his head and smiling affectionately as the corners of the transparent window developed a pink hue.
[M-More importantly, when am I going to get to visit your home!?] asked Aileen, adding [I want to see where you go when you're not here and eat even more delicious food from the source!]
"Did you receive permission from your family...?" asked Vahn, causing a series of dots to appear on the display as, for obvious reasons, Aileen's family wasn't comfortable with her vacating the Black Tower and visiting what was effectively a completely different reality—one where they had no presence or influence.
[If...if it's just for a short while and I come back safely, they shouldn't make too big a fuss...] muttered Aileen, avoiding looking into her crystal ball and nervously pressing the tips of her index fingers together within her increasingly otaku-like room. Hoarding precious items was common among Great Dragons, so she had a rather expansive collection of anime figurines and merchandise, some of which were handmade, as she had a fondness for arts and crafts.
