Chapter 219: Preparations
"Alright...give Orochi hell..." said Vahn, kneeling so that he could caress the sides of Yamato's face in her fox form.
"He doesn't stand a chance..." responded Yamato, licking Vahn's lips a few times before departing through her personal dimensional gate, resembling a crimson Torii. She briefly stopped after passing through to stare back at Vahn from over her left shoulder, but after seeing him nod, she turned and continued on her way, determined to confront her father and then liberate Wano from the villainous Orochi's tyranny.
'There she goes...' mused Vahn, already missing the loveable Oni. Three months wasn't that protracted a period, but since it had mostly been the two of them until near the end of their cohabitation, he was going to miss their fooling around, training, and cuddling.
Shifting his gaze to Grayfia, who had been observing his and Yamato's parting moments with a faint smile, Vahn reflexively extended his right hand, prompting her to step forward and into his embrace. Then, after a lengthy exchange of saliva, he separated from her lips and expressed, "I need some time to recenter myself. When Serafall and Gabriel return from their tour of the Black Tower, please find something to occupy them until dinner. I will be with my children until then..."
"Leave it to me..." answered Grayfia, narrowing her silver eyes and taking the initiative to give Vahn another deep and protracted kiss before leaving to convey his will to Venelana. In her wake, Vahn stared at where she had disappeared for several seconds before teleporting around a few times to pick up Lupheria, Lastia, and Kunou for an impromptu picnic and play date with Dizzy, accompanied by Misla, Jack-O, and Yasaka...

'Oh, wow...' thought Vahn, his brows rising as Serafall entered the private dining hall that had been arranged for their meeting in an elegant kimono with a lavender base, a dark purple hem, billowy sleeves, and an intricate flower pattern. A blue and yellow obi adorned her waist with a six-bowed purple ribbon, and in place of her usual twin tails, she had her long, black hair fixed into a loose bun with an ornate, lavender-hued hibiscus hairpin.
Leaving Vahn visibly slack-jawed and at a loss for words, Serafall's arrival was promptly followed by a wingless Gabriel, similarly modeling a kimono but with an ivory-white base and pale golden accents. She carried a gold, cross-shaped scepter that came to a point in her right hand, and her long, slightly curly golden hair pulsed with a faint luminance, much like the halo that produced a soft hum as it rotated slowly above her head.
"Hooooo~? I take it you approve of our outfits~?" asked Serafall, grinning mischievously as she approached the small, low-lying wooden table Vahn had hurriedly risen from. Then, surprising him immensely, she grabbed his right and held it up, linking their fingers before putting considerable power into her grip as she meaningfully muttered, "I heard that you got Rias and many other women pregnant...you need to take better care of Sona..." with a smile that didn't quite reach her violet eyes.
