Chapter 193: Err
"Oh? That's a pretty scary face you're making there, friend..." said Gid, stopping in front of Vahn's seat a few centimeters off the ground, staring down at him with his chin raised pompously and an arrogant, daring smile on his face.
"STOOOOOPUUUUU—" exclaimed Issei, using English with a Japanese accent as he practically flew across the banquet hall to position himself between Vahn and Gid, facing the latter as he hastily explained, "Father-in-law! This is the man I told you about, Vahn Mason! He is the Master of this palace and the Dragon's Pavilion, so we shouldn't—"
"Oh? So you're the Big Boss around here...?" asked Gid, smacking Issei aside with enough force to send him crashing into the banquet hall wall before gathering energy at its tip.
Closing his eyes and exhaling from his nose, Vahn responded, "You can come back when you're willing to apologize and be reasonable..."
Though Gid looked like he had a response ready, he never got to voice it as he disappeared the instant Vahn finished speaking, causing the energy he had gathered to disperse harmlessly.
"The Super Perverted but Omega Kind Master has saved us once again expresses Mikoto, experiencing a maidenly crisis," said one of the nearby Sisters, causing Vahn to exhale faintly from his nose and shake his head before glancing in the direction Issei had been sent flying, knocking over and destroying several tables before cratering a wall upside down.
"You still alive...?" asked Vahn, prompting Issei to spread his Devil wings, allowing him to dislodge himself from the wall and flip right side up as he responded, "For now. And sorry about Gid. Since you've seen you-know-what, you should know what he's like..."
"And you should know what these girls have gone through...never allow anyone to treat them as objects..." stated Vahn, narrowing his eyes and attempting to appear serious and poised, but the gazes of the Sisters in the hall bore into him like lasers, causing him to feel awkward and a little uncomfortable. Their comments and predilection for referring to him as a Super Pervert as a term of endearment didn't help...
