"That's honestly what makes this difficult..." revealed Vahn, placing his hands on and caressing Grayfia's sides as he explained, "I intend to have you with me wherever we go, but because of how powerful you are, that eliminates the challenge of most worlds. In the few settings where that isn't the case, my current power is inconsequential..."
"Does it need to be...?" asked Grayfia, pointing out, "Unless you choose to meaningfully interact with the cast and characters of the worlds we enter, there's nothing to prevent us from simply dropping in, annihilating a group of pirates or monsters, and then disappearing without explanation..."
"That doesn't sound bad at all..." affirmed Vahn, imagining himself as a hero of justice who appeared to lend a hand to the protagonists of various anime before vanishing just as mysteriously. Some of the worlds they had replicated, like Castlevania, Made in Abyss, Goblin Slayer, and Overlord, were fairly messed up by design, so it wasn't like he was short of settings where he could cut loose without inhibition...
