Chapter 87: Temptation
With Koneko, Asia, and Xenovia naturally joining him once they learned he was getting in the bath, Vahn found himself in what many would consider an enviable position. It wasn't what he had in mind when he first entered the spacious, square-shaped bath, but he had Asia and Xenovia nestled against him with his arms wrapped around their shoulders, and since she was feeling horny after he gave her a comprehensive cleaning and rinsed her off, Koneko was reclining against him with a contented expression, her eyes closed and his little brother snug within her.
"It appears I have become the odd one out..." hummed Grayfia, sitting across from Vahn in the bath, her legs entangled with his and sporting a naturally alluring smile as she discreetly caressed the interior of his right thigh with her toes. If she relaxed her posture and sank a bit deeper into the bath, Vahn's foot would be pressing against her most important place, veiled in her usual black thong, but she remained upright, leaving it to him close the remaining distance.
Unable to restrain her curiosity, Xenovia tilted her head slightly, casually questioning, "Unless I'm mistaken, isn't Grayfia-san married to the current Maou, Lucifer-sama? Is it alright for you to be here...?"
Maintaining her smile, Grayfia offered a weak nod and explained, "While it is true that I am married to Sirzechs-sama, who I cherish dearly, I am first and foremost a Pureblooded Devil of House Lucifuge, the greatest of the Six Houses of Lucifer. The Great Lucifer-sama specifically conceived us to be the ultimate servants, so serving my Master dutifully is ingrained into the very core of my being. As my sole contractor, that makes Vahn-sama nearly as important to me as my husband..."
"I had no idea..." muttered Vahn, more taken aback than surprised by the revelation. If nothing else, it explained Grayfia's persistence and why she appeared to prioritize him even over her child...
Seeing Vahn adopt a serious expression, Grayfia relaxed her body ever so slightly as she asked, "Are you contemplating voiding our contract? I have no doubt you could achieve it with your power, but if I have a say in the decision, I would like to remain in Vahn-sama's care for a century or two. It is extremely difficult for Devils at my level to grow even more powerful, and while I'm certain you could discover a solution to that as well, I have greatly enjoyed serving Vahn-sama. Our time together, while fleeting, has been...refreshing..."
'I guess doing the same job every day for centuries on end would get pretty samey after a while...' thought Vahn, staring blankly at where his right foot was nestled between Grayfia's fair, plump, and toned thighs. Her relaxing her body had reminded him of how close he was to touching a place he shouldn't, but instead of repositioning his foot, he went back to ignoring it, raised his gaze to meet her narrowed silver eyes, and assured, "I have no intention of annulling our contract...without your help, Kiba and Irina might have died when Kokabiel attacked us. You've also taught most of us here a lot about Devil society and have been helping Rias and Akeno with their Magic training. It might be shameless of me, but I hope you can continue to look after us, at least until we can stand on our own..."
"It would be my pleasure..." expressed Grayfia, her smile broadening and silver eyes narrowing as, in the process of Koneko adjusting her position atop Vahn's lap, his heel came to rest against her most sensitive spot. At that exact moment, she also sank a half-centimeter deeper into the water, causing Vahn's pupils to dilate slightly as he presumably became aware of where he was touching...
