Marvel: Starting with Dumbledore's Template at Kamar-Taj

Chapter 73 73: The cat [1]

As the golden toasts wrapped up and the jazz band swelled again, the celebratory tension in the Great Hall subtly shifted toward anticipation for Ethan.

The party continued for hours. Ethan found himself cornered by various Ministry officials eager to shake the hand of the man who had effectively dismantled the Dark Lord's final resistance, but his gaze kept sliding back toward Minerva and Tonks.

Finally, as the festivities began to wind down and guests started to disperse toward the Floo network or the carriages, Minerva approached him. She moved with her usual composed, authoritative grace, but as she leaned in, her voice was a sultry, dangerous whisper that only Ethan could hear.

"You've had your share of public admiration tonight, Mr. Williams," she said, her eyes hooded, a wicked smirk playing on her lips. "I trust you remember the terms of your... private tutoring? Keep the door unlocked, Ethan. I expect punctuality."

She pulled away before he could answer, her emerald robes snapping as she walked toward Dumbledore, leaving Ethan with a sharp jolt of anticipation.

Seconds later, near the doors, Tonks was flanked by fellow Aurors, looking every bit the professional hero in her uniform. But as she caught Ethan's eye from across the room, she offered a slow, deliberate wink, mirroring Minerva's instruction. Keep the doors open.

Back in his manifested room hours later, the contrast with the bustling Great Hall was stark. Ethan had ditched his jacket and was lounging on the edge of the silken bed, the golden glow of his Sling Ring magic providing the only light. The tension of waiting was humming in his veins. He closed his eyes, tapping into the System interface.

[ System Points: 65,400 ]

The massive number made him smirk. He'd earned a fortune in this world, and with only seven hours and change remaining, it was time to spend some of it on the two witches who had made his stay truly memorable. He browsed the "Multi-Versal Specialty Shop," his eyes landing on a familiar suggestion.

[Item: Draught of Temporal Stasis & Vitality] Cost: 5,500 System Points per vial. Effect: Far superior to standard rejuvenation potions. This concoction instantly erases physical fatigue, revitalizes the drinker's magical core, and erases signs of aging, effectively anchoring the body at its physical peak for one full year. Also grants subtle increases to longevity and stamina.

It was expensive, but for Ethan, it was pocket change. It was a hell of a farewell gift for Minerva and Tonks. He bought two, watching the numbers drop.

Just as he was closing the interface, a soft click echoed from the door. Not a knock, just the latch turning. Ethan instantly extinguished the golden Sling Ring light, plunging the room into shadow. He sat up, his heart hammering as he focused on the door.

The heavy oak door slowly pushed open, and what he saw framed against the dark corridor left his jaw completely fallen.

[ SYSTEM NOTE: Close your mouth, Host. You're catching flies. ]

Ethan ignored the snark. Standing there, her face a mask of predatory, mischievous amusement, was Minerva McGonagall. But she was unrecognizable.

She was wearing a sleek, glossy black bodysuit that clung to her figure like a predatory second skin, the material reflecting the dim light with a deep, dangerous sheen. The dangerous tightness of the suit emphasized every curve, and she leaned casually against the frame with a provocative, effortless grace that was entirely catlike.

The high-cut lines of the suit left her hips provocatively bare, leading down to sheer black stockings topped with thick, ornate lace that hugged her thighs. A daring, low-cut opening at her chest perfectly framed the heavy emerald pendant, while a long, velvet-black plush tail swayed with a slow, rhythmic motion behind her, twitching with silent amusement. Her dark hair, still styled elegantly with its signature silver streaks, was crowned by a pair of dark feline ears. Behind her thin-rimmed glasses, which were somehow still perfectly in place, her eyes locked onto Ethan's, her lips curling into a wicked, knowing smirk as she watched him struggle to find his breath.

She was standing there in a flawless, exceedingly sexy cat outfit. Every bit the predator who had finally cornered its prize.

Minerva smiled, her voice low and confident. "So, how do you like my final... farewell gift, Mr. Williams? Is it up to the 'Master's' standards?"

"Astounding," Ethan managed to rasp, standing up. "I have to say, Minerva... this outfit matches your nature more than you know. You look magnificent."

A faint flush rose to her cheeks, but the smirk didn't waver. "I'm glad it meets your approval. I believe I have some... 'detention' time... to serve."

Before Ethan could move, Minerva dropped to all fours. She moved with a liquid, predatory grace that wasn't acting—it was the instinct of her Animagus form seeping through. She began to crawl slowly across the floor toward him, her ass held provocatively high, the black tail swaying rhythmically behind her as she stalked her prey. The look in her eyes behind those glasses was pure, unadulterated intent.
