Chapter 446: An Arrogant Bald Man
Richard launched a flurry of attacks, but every single one was effortlessly dodged by John. The ease with which John evaded made Richard's face darken, his expression turning ice cold. Rage brewed in his chest, violent and murderous.
The Cinnabar Sect strictly forbade disciples from killing one another—but Richard was convinced this bald man was an impostor.

John weaved through the air, his movements fluid and precise, making Richard look increasingly foolish and enraged with each failed strike.
Watching the sudden clash unfold, Sherry clutched Violet's arm in panic. "Violet! Hurry, stop them before it gets worse!"
She still wanted to get to know the handsome bald man. What a waste it would be if his attractive face got ruined by Richard's aggression.
Violet frowned. "Brother Jefferson, I won't hold a grudge over what happened just now. There's no need to damage the harmony between fellow disciples over me."
Despite being from the Cloud School, she referred to Richard as "Brother Jefferson" out of respect for his seniority.
She assumed this fight was due to the disrespectful behavior John had shown her earlier.
Richard scoffed. "Miss Moore, it's no longer about whether you forgive him or not. It's a matter of the Cinnabar Sect's safety. I suspect this man isn't a disciple at all."
Indeed, for an outsider to sneak into the sect unnoticed was a serious threat. He couldn't let John off easily.
