The Seven Sisters and Their Hidden King

Chapter 431: The Girl Talk

"Becoming a disciple of the Cinnabar Sect... I don't know," Tracy murmured, her eyes clouded with uncertainty.

She was confused.

Before John returned, she never even considered becoming a martial artist, let alone a cultivator. The idea itself had felt like an unreachable fantasy.

But now, not only had she stepped into the world of cultivation, she was being formally invited to join one of the major sects—the Cinnabar Sect.

The weight of that invitation sat heavily on her shoulders. Tracy hadn't pursued cultivation for glory or status. She had chosen this path for one reason: to channel vital energy through her needles—so she could heal others more effectively.

That had always been her purpose.

Joining the Cinnabar Sect had never crossed her mind. And so, when faced with the offer, she hesitated. Her heart wavered between her goal and the unknown future that lay ahead.

John, seeing the turmoil in her expression, offered a reassuring smile. "It's okay, Tracy. I was just asking. You don't need to decide right now. Wait until we visit the Cinnabar Sect. See it for yourself first."

He had to go to the Cinnabar Sect regardless.

He had to obtain Queen Cyan's scripture—and quickly.

There were two reasons: first, he couldn't stand watching Tracy suffer night after night. Second, the Holy Fire Tripod's nightly manifestation would soon attract the attention of other cultivators. The longer it continued, the more danger it posed. They couldn't afford to draw that kind of attention.
