The Seven Sisters and Their Hidden King

Chapter 349 - 348 – Bridal Chamber

"John, where are we going?"

After leaving the cemetery, Bertha finally spoke up, noticing that John was still carrying her tightly in his arms. She looked up at him, confused and flushed with uncertainty.

"Bridal chamber," John replied smoothly.

"Bridal chamber?" she echoed, eyes wide in shock. "Are you trying to hit on me again?!"

John raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean by 'hit on'? I'm simply doing what's right and proper."

"What?!"

"Haven't you already admitted that you're my future wife?"

"When did I..." She paused. The moment came back to her—the cemetery, John's bold claim, and her silence in front of his mother's grave. She hadn't refuted him, not wanting to cause a scene during such a delicate moment.

But just because she didn't protest didn't mean she was ready to have sex with him the same day!

"Put me down! I'm not marrying you so soon!" she protested, struggling in his arms.

Without missing a beat, John shifted her weight, holding her with one arm while giving her butt a playful smack with the other. "Behave yourself."
