Chapter 253: Too Calm Sisters
After the conversation between John and Jeff, the latter left with his disciples without saying another word. He didn't cause any more trouble for Tracy.
Jeff had more important matters to attend to—he needed to go to Australia as soon as possible and report everything to the deputy leader of the League.
Once Jeff was gone, Tracy immediately found John, her face filled with confusion.
"Little brother, what did you say to that man? Why did they leave so easily?"
"I told him the Australian man went back to his homeland on his own," John said casually.
Tracy narrowed her eyes. "Do you think I'm stupid enough to believe that?"
John smiled faintly. "Jeff believed it."
Tracy stomped her foot angrily. "John, do you think I'm that gullible?"
She might be soft-hearted, but she wasn't stupid. There was no way Jeff had believed such a ridiculous explanation.
It was obvious John was lying.
"Tracy, it's over now. Don't worry about it. Those people won't bother you again, and I'll be just fine," John said reassuringly.
