Angela's strange words made John pause, completely stunned. For a moment, he thought she might be delirious with a fever.
But then she explained, "Yes, isn't your master named Perry? My master is Gianna—they were both disciples under the same master. So, your master is technically my master's brother, right?"

John's head suddenly buzzed, and his eyes widened.
He vaguely remembered that his master had gone by the nickname "Perry," but he'd always assumed the old man was just a solitary sect leader with no attachments. He never thought there could be a broader connection like this.
What the fifth sister said was blowing his mind.
