Chapter 207: Fair and Just?
Sawyer attacked again.
This shocked everyone. In battles on the challenge arena, the outcome was often clear from the first exchange. Continuing to fight only increased the loser's humiliation.
This was, after all, a martial arts competition.
In private conflicts, someone might resort to underhanded methods to defeat or even kill a stronger opponent. But in this arena?
Such things were forbidden.
A martial arts competition was meant to be fair and just—especially with a deacon of the Martial Arts League acting as referee.
Sawyer knew he was no longer stronger than Adam. Yet he still charged forward, giving the impression that he was simply unwilling to accept defeat. But in truth, everyone knew the odds were now stacked against him.
"The competition is suspended!"
At that exact moment, as Sawyer lunged forward, Andrew's sudden declaration rang out, stunning everyone.
Sawyer froze mid-step.
All eyes turned to Andrew, whose square-jawed face radiated the righteous light of fairness. He looked at Sawyer with authority and said sternly, "I suspect there's a hidden weapon in your hand. Show me your right hand immediately."
