John shook his head and returned home, only to be dragged into a room by Alice without warning. Her bright, charming eyes blinked mischievously as she said, "Little John, want to help me with my cultivation tonight? Without your help, I barely make any progress!"
John was stunned, then gave a helpless smile. "Alice, have you forgotten the side effects of our last cultivation session?"
He didn't dare go down that road again so casually.
Disappointment spread across her beautiful face, but a sly idea quickly lit up her eyes. "Then from now on," she declared dramatically, "I'm breaking off our brother–sister relationship!"
"What?"
John looked at her like she was crazy. "What are you talking about?"
Before he could say more, Alice bit her seductive red lips and added, "That way, we can be boyfriend and girlfriend instead! Then... there won't be any more issues with 'side effects,' right?"
