Allen grabbed a handful of money, tossed it at the woman beside him, and said, "Take the money, put on your clothes, and leave!"

The woman glared at Allen angrily. Seeing his rising temper, she quickly gathered the money from the bed and left the room.

Allen lit a cigarette and stood in front of the French window, staring out at the city lights beyond the hotel.
