Chapter 16: Queen of Rose
Jonathan's face turned gloomy as Alice entered the scene, her presence immediately commanding attention.
Before he could react or vent his anger, a charming voice called out, "Mr. Sinclaire, why do you look so bad?"
The crowd turned, and all eyes were immediately drawn to the stunning woman who had just descended from the staircase leading to the second floor. Her slender legs and waist swayed with each step as she moved, wearing a magnificent red dress that hugged her curves and a pair of bright silver high heels. She looked like a noble queen descending from the heavens.
The woman was Alice, the infamous "Queen of Rose," and the boss of the Night Rose. Her allure was undeniable, and the crowd couldn't help but be captivated by her beauty. With a faint, seductive smile on her face, her red lips seemed to promise a world of temptation.
As she approached Queenie, the other patrons fell into a trance, mesmerized by the presence of these two extraordinary women. When the two of them were together, it was impossible to determine which one was more beautiful—Queenie, with her aloof elegance, or Alice, with her enchanting and fiery aura. They were like ice and fire, two extremes that left everyone breathless.
"Mr. Sinclaire?" Alice's voice broke the spell, and Jonathan snapped out of his daze.
"Miss Moon," he stammered, now clearly affected by Alice's charm. "I didn't mean to cause trouble here. It's just that this shameless couple has been teasing me. I just want to seek some justice."
"Really?" Alice's smile grew ever so slightly as she turned to Queenie, "Elder sister, he called you a shameless woman!"
Elder sister?
The room fell into stunned silence. Jonathan froze, his mind scrambling to make sense of what was happening.
A murmur rippled through the crowd. Who would have thought that these two rare beauties were actually sisters? No wonder they were both so stunning—two sides of the same coin.
