Chapter 144: The Subjugation of Uesugi Yotsuba
The wedding-themed love hotel room was now a mess, the remnants of a night of lust and betrayal.
The once-clean white sheets were stained with smudges of blood and bodily fluids. Yotsuba's traditional Chinese red wedding dress lay carelessly on the floor, partly trampled and wrinkled.
The Western-style white wedding dress that Yotsuba had brought was also in disarray, folded imperfectly at the end of the bed, as if a silent witness to the defilement of the sacred bond of marriage.
The scent of women's perfume mingled with the lingering odors of sweat and desire in the room's stuffy air.
Opening his eyes slowly, Ren felt a slight throbbing in his head. He stared at the unfamiliar hotel room ceiling, a plain white expanse that was definitely not his apartment's.

Turning his head to the side, Ren saw Yotsuba sleeping soundly beside him. Her red wedding dress had ridden up slightly, revealing the skin of her neck and shoulders covered in red marks from hickeys and a few light slaps, remnants of their passionate games from the night before.
Perhaps due to the slightly chilly room temperature, Yotsuba was curled up like a fetus, seeking warmth beneath the rumpled blanket.
