Chapter 138: Odaiba Beach
Exactly thirty minutes later, his phone rang. The name 'Masha' was displayed on the screen. He immediately answered the call.
"Rokuhara-kun, we're ready. Hurry to the parking area in front of the school. Because there are quite a few people joining, President Kenzaki managed to borrow a school bus under the guise of student council business." Masha said cheerfully on the other end.
Ren raised his eyebrows slightly. It was clearly an abuse of power, but he was sure the teachers would choose to turn a blind eye. The student council president, Kenzaki Touya, was known to be diligent and had contributed much to the school's progress, so a little privilege might be considered reasonable.
"Okay, I'll be right there." Ren replied briefly before ending the call. He immediately left the school rooftop and walked towards the parking area.
Earlier, he had sent a short message to Hayasaka to not fool around with her friends and focus more on taking care of the pregnant Itsuki at the apartment.
Arriving at the parking area, Ren saw a bright yellow school bus already parked. Masha stood in front of the bus entrance, waving her hand with a wide smile.
"Rokuhara-kun, you're the last one! Everyone's been waiting."
Ren nodded and boarded the bus with Masha. Inside, he saw three men and three women already seated in their respective seats.
The three men were Kenzaki Touya, the student council president with a strong aura of leadership. Kuze Masachika, a student who often helped with student council activities. And... Ito Makoto?
'Huh? Why was Ito Makoto invited too?'
'That guy is truly shameless. How could he dare to join this group when he's having an affair with the student council president's own girlfriend, Sarashina Chisaki? Makoto is either too bold, or perhaps more accurately, arrogant.' Ren thought to himself.
