Chapter 36: Transfer Student
In one of the tightly closed toilet stalls, the sound of irregular breathing filled the cramped space. The silence outside seemed to make every gasp more audible, echoing off the narrow walls of the stall.
"Gulp... This is bitter..."
Masha leaned against the stall door, her eyes blinking slightly as she struggled to swallow something. Her face showed an expression of determination. With the back of her hand, she wiped the corner of her lips where a thick liquid had gathered.
"You're too energetic, Ren-kun." She said in a soft voice, her tone half-complaining but still tinged with resignation.
In front of her, Ren simply chuckled lightly. With a gentle motion, he patted her head, his fingers casually brushing through her slightly disheveled hair.
"Thank you, Masha. You've helped me lighten my burden."
"Huh..."
Masha let out a soft snort, glaring at Ren with a pout but not truly angry. Skillfully, she buttoned up her open uniform, making sure everything looked normal before glancing at the stall door.
Meanwhile, Ren pulled up his pants and tightened his belt with a satisfied expression.
"Next time, don't make me do something like that so casually." Masha said, her tone half-annoyed, half-resigned. Her hand moved to gently touch her stomach. "What if something happens to our baby?"
Wrapping his arm around Masha's waist, Ren pulled her into a warm embrace.
