Chapter 21: Meeting of Japan’s Elite
Waking up from her sleep, Itsuki noticed the bed was empty except for her. Usually, she was the first to wake up, preparing breakfast like a proper housewife, then waking Ren up to go to school.
That was her daily routine.
However, today, she didn't see Ren beside her.
With her belly swollen at eight months pregnant, she slowly got out of bed. Sleepiness still lingered, but the anxiety in her heart outweighed everything. Her husband wasn't in the room, something that rarely happened.
'Did he go out?' She thought with a hint of worry.
She walked out of the bedroom, her steps slightly hurried despite needing to be careful with her condition. However, as she passed through the living room, she immediately saw Ren's back standing in the kitchen, busy preparing something.
The tension in her heart instantly eased.
Ren was usually a man who was too lazy to wake up early, much like one of his sisters, Nakano Ichika. Now, Ren stood in the kitchen wearing an apron, stirring something in a frying pan. The fragrant aroma of an omelet filled the room.
With a sense of curiosity, Itsuki approached and asked, "It's not like you to wake up early. What's going on?"
Ren turned to her, grinning casually. "I woke up early because I had to shower after a wet dream."
