Chapter 9: The Generous Rokuhara Ren
Ren strolled leisurely down the quiet hallway after parting ways with Natsuo. Not many students were around, as most had already entered their classrooms. It was then that his eyes caught a familiar figure—Masha.
A mischievous smile appeared on his face. An opportunity like this was too precious to pass up. With light steps, he crept up behind her, making sure Masha didn't notice his presence.
Once he was close enough, Ren quickly covered Masha's mouth with one hand and wrapped his other arm around her waist. Without giving her time to react, he dragged her into an empty room nearby.
"Mmmpppp—"
As expected, Masha struggled in panic, her body tense as she tried to break free. But after a few seconds, she stopped fighting once she recognized Ren's face. Her eyes widened, then turned into a sharp glare.
Ren finally released his grip. Before she could say anything, Masha immediately pouted.
"Goodness, Ren-kun, you almost gave me a heart attack! I thought I was being kidnapped!"
"Your reaction was cute, Masha." Ren shrugged without a hint of guilt.
Ren winced slightly when Masha's foot landed on his shoe, but his relaxed expression remained unchanged.
"Ouch, that's cruel. I just wanted to tease you a little."
Masha was still pouting, but the blush on her cheeks couldn't be hidden.
