Chapter 64: Pregnant
Just as Mother Gu saw Old Mrs. Gu heading upstairs directly, she reached out to try to grab her, but unexpectedly, her vision went black, and she fainted.
Gu Fuqiao turned around and saw Father Gu anxiously holding Mother Gu, along with Ouyang Qing by Mother Gu’s side. She raised an eyebrow slightly and thought to herself, What a harmonious family!
Old Mrs. Gu was not in a hurry. She merely glanced at Sister Sun and said, "Go make a call."
"Yes." Sister Sun nodded, walked over to Father Gu, and said, "Young Master, you should let go of the Young Mistress first. I’ll call someone to take her to the hospital." Then she started heading downstairs to make the call.
Father Gu looked up at Old Mrs. Gu, his eyes slightly bloodshot, seeming full of resentment towards her.
"Mom, it’s okay, I’ll take Rong’er to the hospital." After speaking, Father Gu hoisted Mother Gu onto his back and headed downstairs, looking as if he was leaving in a huff.
Old Mrs. Gu saw this and pressed her lips tightly together while gripping her cane. She said nothing and turned around to go upstairs.
Sister Sun politely nodded to Gu Fuqiao and then followed Old Mrs. Gu upstairs.
Gu Fuqiao didn’t want to go with them. To her, Ouyang Qing was part of their family. Besides, without Old Mrs. Gu around, there’s no telling how they might bully her.
So, she followed Old Mrs. Gu upstairs. Once in the room, Old Mrs. Gu looked at her, surprised, "Ah Jiao, why aren’t you with your mom?"
