On their way back, Sun Chan indeed bought ribs, some chicken, and also some vermicelli and pickled cabbage, spending a total of 50 yuan. Anyway, the weather is cold now, so there’s no worry about it going bad.

He wasn’t particularly good at cooking, but this dish was something his foster father excelled at and had taught him since he was young.
So many good dishes, it was quite a treat.

She laughed, "We should let your brother come and eat with us."

"Sure." Sun Chan took out the lunchbox swiftly.
Once everything was set, the two sat by the table to have dinner together.
Gu Junming said, "I’m going to be busy starting tomorrow, so I can’t be with you every day. If you need anything, remember to call me. Once I find a place, I’ll let you know. I’ll come over on moving day."
Sun Chan nodded, "I got it. After the meal, you should leave, right? It’s hard to travel if it gets too late."
