The Divine General felt a powerful force transfer over, and his body involuntarily stumbled back several steps, he was secretly astonished.

Slashing out his strongest sword technique, the Yellow Emperor’s Sword in his hand transformed into a streak of golden light, resembling an endlessly growing blade of sword grass, it looked capable of cleaving heaven and earth apart.

The Divine General’s pupils violently contracted, he had never seen such a powerful sword technique, and from a mere Eighth Heaven Deity at that, he had only witnessed this kind of might from the Heavenly Court’s Divine Lords, but that was the might of a Saint.

No, I need to run, I’m going to die, he screamed frantically in his mind, but due to absolute terror, his body could not move an inch.

Everyone on the battlefield was captivated by this strike, each of their eyes revealed horror, and their gazes toward Adam were filled with shock. Where did this terrifying existence spring out from?

Adam was completely focused, void of all distractions.

The Yellow Emperor’s Sword slashed toward the Divine General’s waist at incredible speed, vanishing in a flash.

A microscopic wound appeared on the Divine General’s waist, his armor was cleanly sliced in two, and fresh blood seeped out, but apart from that, nothing else seemed to have happened.

The battlefield fell into dead silence, looking at the overwhelming posture of that strike, it should not have been this weak.

"Haha, you scared me to death! I thought it would have some heaven-shaking power, but it turns out it was just a flashy parlor trick, how laughab..."

But halfway through his sentence, massive amounts of blood gushed wildly from the wound.

In the very next second, his body snapped clean in two.

Adam looked indifferently at the severed Divine General, yet no ripples stirred in his heart, he knew this strike had thoroughly finished off this opponent, although the Evil God pill could allow rapid healing, in the face of Spring Breeze of Triumph, this ability had no room to manifest, he was simply not given the chance to take a pill.

At the exact moment the sword qi severed the body, it also eradicated his life force, rendering healing impossible.

The surrounding warriors were shocked speechless, their gazes were filled with reverence and worship.

The Heavenly Court side’s eyes widened, staring at the Ninth Heaven expert reduced to two bloody pieces, they did not dare imagine that sword striking them.

Adam let out a long sigh of relief, this was his most devastating attack, if it had not finished the job, they would have been in profound trouble.

"Quick, merge into the other formations!" Adam roared across the battlefield, with a Ninth Heaven expert killed, the crushing pressure instantly alleviated.

The village warriors moved like a coordinated tide, seamlessly integrating into the remaining formations.

Momentum tilted in their favor, however, they dared not grow complacent, holding off the Ninth Heaven experts was only slightly easier, killing them remained monumental, yet with Adam standing as a lethal deterrent, the Heavenly Court forces began to hesitate, terrified of a sudden ambush.

Adam was far from idle, his figure blurred as he materialized beside the battle axe dropped by the fallen Divine General and scooped it up.

An exceptionally powerful artifact, rare even within the Heavenly Court, while it could not rival the Yellow Emperor’s Sword, it was perfect for the resistance to bolster their firepower.

The Heavenly Court commanders recognized the shifting tides, they had anticipated effortless slaughter, but this unknown figure had executed one of their top deities.

"Pass down the order, reinforce defenses and mobilize backup immediately!" A commander ordered grimly.

A Heavenly Soldier shot toward the city like a comet.

Adam noticed the messenger but made no move to stop him.

This was exactly what he wanted.

Gripping the Yellow Emperor’s Sword, he swept his icy gaze over the remaining experts. "You Heavenly Court lapdogs, didn’t you want to harvest us? Look around, who is harvesting whom?"

Enraged by the mockery, a Ninth Heaven expert shattered the formation entangling him and charged, wielding an azure spear flowing with mysterious aquatic ripples, he thrust at Adam’s throat.

Adam’s eyes turned frosty, with a subtle shift, he evaded the lethal strike and unleashed a fierce backhand swing with the battle axe.

Clang!

A deafening metallic shockwave erupted as the Yellow Emperor’s Sword and the spear violently collided in a shower of sparks, both were pushed back, but Adam took only a single leisurely step, while his opponent stumbled several paces, clearly outmatched.

"Is that all? The Heavenly Court’s elite are nothing special." Adam taunted.

Furious, the expert prepared to strike again.

In a flash of golden light, Adam vanished, he reappeared behind the expert instantly, though startled, the Ninth Heaven Deity spun his azure spear backward in a deadly arc, yet Adam was faster, he evaded and unleashed a ferocious beam from the Yellow Emperor’s Sword.

Slash!

Despite the desperate block, residual sword qi carved a deep, bloody gorge across the expert’s torso, leaving him thoroughly disheveled.

"This..." The surrounding Heavenly Court experts gasped, they never expected this young man to dominate their absolute best.

"It seems your strength is lacking." Adam sneered, in another flash, he vanished, materializing behind a different, unsuspecting expert, giving his target zero time to react, Adam swung the Yellow Emperor’s Sword.

"Ah!"

Before the expert could even process the threat, he was cleaved perfectly in half, blood rained across the battlefield, Adam stared indifferently at the falling corpse, every life taken was a calculated step toward the resistance’s survival.
