Chapter 9 Business Trip
The place where Mu Yan lives is very remote; she rents a small one-bedroom apartment.
The building was constructed several years ago, with no elevator, but the advantage is that the rent is cheap.
No matter how run-down the exterior looks, the inside is made very cozy by Mu Yan.
With warm-colored wallpaper and simple yet complete furniture, the apartment feels like a home.
After entering, Mu Yan threw her bag along with the marriage certificate casually onto the sofa and went into the bathroom.
She hadn't had a chance to properly wash at the hotel; she felt dirty and uncomfortable.
She took off her clothes, stood under the showerhead, closed her eyes, and repeatedly cleaned her body with her hands covered in shower gel.
Unfortunate events had already happened; she couldn't change them, and now she could only think about the future.
