Chapter 1343: Won’t Be Jumping Around Much Longer
"Forget it." Yun Qiluo shook her head, knowing He was very busy. Then She lifted Her head again and asked Him, "Beautiful woman, will you come over next time?"
"Depends on the time." Yan Yan reached out to rub Her little head. "Aren’t you guys changing shooting locations?"
"Oh, right."
You can’t possibly finish all the filming in just one place; in a while they’d be moving somewhere else, and the leads all had to go along.
She’d heard the next location was even more remote than here, the kind of place without even a hotel, let alone any chance of seeing Yan Yan again. Yun Qiluo instantly sank deeper into Her funk.
That whole afternoon Yan Yan just dragged Her around nearby to buy good food, bought a pile of it and had people stash it in Her RV so that when He wasn’t around, if She got busy filming and couldn’t go out to get food, She’d still have something to eat.
The RV’s fridge was stuffed full, but Yun Qiluo’s mood still didn’t improve much.
In the end Yan Yan checked the time and said, "I’ll take you back to the crew first, then I’ll head to the airport."
"Okay then."
Yun Qiluo pouted, answering reluctantly.
On the way back She didn’t say a word, just sat quietly in Yan Yan’s arms with Her head hanging, like a little animal that had been abandoned.
When they reached the entrance of the crew, She was still silent and didn’t get out.
Yan Yan pinched Her little face. "Be good, you’re back now. your Director is still waiting for you."
After a few seconds, Yun Qiluo said, "Beautiful woman, you have to call me when you get back."
"Okay." He responded lightly, looking as if He wasn’t reluctant to leave Her at all.
Yun Qiluo pursed Her lips before finally, unwillingly, starting to turn to get out of the car. But as soon as She pushed the door open, a sudden tightness at Her waist yanked Her whole body back in.
She blinked, still not having reacted, and Her mouth was already sealed.
"Mmph..."
Yan Yan pressed one hand to the back of Her head, locking Her whole little body tightly against His.
He plundered Her sweet little mouth, utterly unrestrained.
The Young Girl could only hold out for less than two seconds before giving in, softly wrapping Her arms around Him and letting Him kiss Her as He pleased.
The driver in front seemed to have long anticipated this scene; after showing an auntie-like grin, he silently raised the partition in the middle of the car, playing his part as a proper invisible man.
After who knew how long, Yan Yan finally let Her go.
The space in the car was cramped, leaving only the two of their breaths tangled together, indistinguishable from each other.
He lowered His gaze, looking at the Young Girl in His arms who was still dazed and not yet back to Her senses. He dipped His head to peck at Her lips again and rasped, "I’ll miss you."
Yun Qiluo nodded, face flushed. "Mm..."
It took quite a while before She processed it and asked Him, "So... I’m getting out now?"
Yan Yan hesitated for a second, then reached out to rub the top of Her head one last time. "Yeah."
Something occurred to Him, and just before She got out of the car, He suddenly spoke again in a low voice: "Next time we meet, I won’t let you off."
The driver didn’t understand this baffling sentence, but Yun Qiluo did. Her small body went stiff.
Then She immediately bolted out of the car without looking back. "Bye-bye, beautiful woman!"
Only after running a few meters away did She dare to turn back, waving at Him.
Watching Her, Yan Yan couldn’t help but curl His lips and said to the driver, "Let’s go."
The driver obediently started the car, peeking in the rearview mirror at Yun Qiluo, who was reluctantly staring at the receding back of the car.
He couldn’t help asking, "Boss, is it really okay to just leave Miss Yun here alone?"
He knew all about what had happened in the crew; they still hadn’t caught the person yet.
Wasn’t their Boss afraid that person would come after Miss Yun again?
Yan Yan leaned back against the rear seat, His half-lowered phoenix eyes tinged with darkness, and spoke lazily, "It’s fine."
That person wouldn’t be jumping around for much longer.
