Chapter 1294: Luo Luo Wraps Up Filming
Yun Qiluo didn’t expect such a great opportunity; she blinked, her eyes sparkling: "What kind of role is it?"
Seeing her expression, Xue Fan couldn’t help but laugh and said, "It’s an ancient martial arts film. The third female lead is a sweet-looking, adorable female assassin who deceives her enemies with her appearance. Your looks should be just right for it."
"But there might be a lot of fight scenes. Although they’ll hire a martial arts teacher for you, it’ll still be quite tough."
Hearing this, Xue Fan was a bit worried that her small arms and legs wouldn’t be up to the task.
But who knew Yun Qiluo’s eyes would light up as she excitedly clenched her little fists: "I can do it! Director Xue, I assure you there’s no problem!"
"Really? You like fight scenes that much? They can be exhausting."
Generally, female stars don’t like shooting fight scenes as they’re tiring and potentially dangerous.
Of course, Yun Qiluo could use a double; he thought about having a double when recommending this film to her.
Yun Qiluo repeatedly assured she could handle it.
After all, it’s just some fight scenes; she’s seen them countless times on TV, she’s totally fine.
Only then did Xue Fan say: "Alright then, if you like it, give it a try when the time comes. I’ll give you the contact information. Although I recommended you, it’s a big production, so you’ll still need to audition first."
"Okay!"
The mention of an audition made Yun Qiluo even happier. She had originally wanted to earn a role based on her own ability and didn’t expect such an opportunity.
Xue Fan saw her happy and carefree demeanor, still not understanding what made her so happy.
Given her relationship with Yan Yan, if she asked him to intervene, there would be no need for an audition at all. Yet, she’s thrilled about auditioning herself. It’s puzzling.
He couldn’t help but shake his head and laugh.
Upon learning that she would be in a major IP production, Yun Qiluo had already started searching for the novel online.
She wasn’t in a hurry to audition, partially because the date hadn’t arrived yet, and also because her scenes in the current drama weren’t finished.
The only thing she could do in her free time
was read the novel.
As for the role of Bishui, she had become extremely familiar with it. There weren’t many major scenes left, and she could handle it with ease.
Two days later, Yun Qiluo’s role as Bishui wrapped up. The shooting continued for another month or so, but her storyline had already concluded.
The story ended with her marrying the Ninth Prince. Originally, a grand wedding was planned, but with Xue Fan’s pitiful request for input from Yan Yan to satisfy his survival instincts, the wedding was cut short and mentioned only briefly. It then showed her helping Jiang Yunxuan when she was in trouble as the Ninth Princess.
On the day Yun Qiluo wrapped up, Xue Fan, knowing she liked cake, specially bought her a very large cake.
The whole crew stopped work for two hours and held a small farewell party for her.
Though they hadn’t spent a long time together, everyone in the crew liked Yun Qiluo, and now that she was leaving, they were reluctant to say goodbye, especially the older actors, who looked at her as if she were their own daughter.
Halfway through the party, Yan Yan arrived.
He had specially made time today to come pick her up and bring her home.
It had been more than ten days since they last saw each other, and though they video called every night and Wang Ma would livestream her daily filming activities to Yan Yan,
it still felt as if they hadn’t met in ages.
When he arrived, Yun Qiluo was busy shoveling cake into her mouth, cream smeared across her face. Suddenly, she noticed the room fall silent for a moment, followed by Xue Fan’s voice: "Mr. Yan."
