Danmachi: The Magic Grandmaster

Chapter 75: A date with Meteria

It was precisely because Meteria's actions defied his common sense that Sion felt panicked.

"I'm happy to see that you can think this way."

Meteria paused, cupping Sion's face in her hands. "I love you and sister."

"I love you more than her. Like you said, I live with clarity and for what I know. I believe that this will never make me regret my future."

That hit the most tender spot in his heart. A warm current passed through Sion's entire body.

It was a gentle current, but it gave Sion courage he had never had before.

"Just as I thought, you're a different one," Sion chuckled softly.

"And so does Alfia."

"Sister just has an awkward personality. Maybe I'm the so called different one compared to her."

"Sion, you are the same too."

Sion couldn't help but give a slight nod, hearing Meteria's words.

Besides the conceptual differences between a transmigrator and a native, he was out of sync with the people around him even before transmigrating.

"If you think about it that way, we're quite a good match." Sion smiled and scratched Meteria's head.

Her eyes narrowed, she looked like a cat having a good time.

She's so cute.

There were a lot of people around. Orario's prosperity was nothing like that of normal cities.

But to Sion, it was just average.

But this was all new for Meteria. They rarely went out on a date. This was only their second time.

Oh no...

I should've cooked something delicious ahead of time.

"Would have set a great mood bringing it out at a time like this," Sion muttered.

The food in this world could only be described as decent in taste. It wasn't comparable to high end cuisine on Earth and the variety of snacks was sparse.

Even in a fantasy world, magic ingredients were fairly rare but dishes with those ingredients tasted delicious.

So, when he had time, Sion would cook for himself and Meteria.

"It's just a date, we can go wherever the mood takes us to."

"Besides, I'm happy with just being with you." Meteria added while walking together with Sion.

Their relationship had grown naturally as they had been together.

Sion nodded his head in agreement after listening to Meteria's words.

While they were talking, there was a commotion up ahead.

"Thief, stop right there!"

There were shouts from afar.

A pallum with a cloak that covered the entire body was nimbly weaving through the crowd.

And judging by the direction they were running, they would pass right by them.

"How irritating."

Sion frowned a bit. He didn't want this to spoil their date.

Taking action would be a hassle, but not doing anything will make him feel annoyed.

"Mage's hand."

The pallum which was about to brush past Sion suddenly floated in mid air.

"Eh??"

The pallum cried out in shock, and then his eyes fixed on Sion.

He shifted his hands a bit and a dagger materialized.

Sion frowned slightly and then looked coldly at the pallum.

The pallum froze in place and then gasped sharply.

He felt like he was in a hellish scene just being looked at.

And the man in front of him seemed to grow larger and larger.

Sion just pushed his aura down and it was enough to make this pallum lose all will to fight and become completely immobile out of fear.

He would likely have a psychological shadow that would follow him for the rest of his life.

"Found him!"

A soft voice sounded. Then looked towards Sion.

"Sion?!" Adi exclaimed in surprise.

"It's been a long time, Adi."
