Chapter 136: Surprised Astraea
"Okay."
Elsa shrugged and walked toward the door.
She led Astraea to the living room.
"Welcome, lady Astraea," Sion said. "My name is Sion, this is my girlfriend Meteria, and that maid is Elsa."
Elsa was dressed in a black and white maid outfit, complete with a headdress, leg rings, a necklace, and so on.
If anyone saw her like this, they would lose their minds. Sion enjoyed the sight more than he let on.
"I know about the empress but I never expected her to become a maid who takes care of others," Astraea exclaimed. "The other children would be so surprised if they saw this."
"I'm retired now, just an idle person," Elsa shrugged and laughed. "I have to find something to do, and it's also a way of repaying a debt of gratitude."
Self controlled prosthetics were expensive, costing the same as a first tier weapon, and were only usable by those with a falna.
For Elsa, the mechanical limbs were far more practical than simply restoring her previous legs.
The prosthetic limbs on her body were specially made by Sion.

Wearing a maid outfit, Elsa looked much more casual than before.
"Lady Astraea, please."
Meteria brought over a cup of hot tea and placed it on the table.
"Thank you," Astraea replied with a warm smile.
They would surely get along well in the future.

Sion narrowed his eyes slightly.
Now was the era of the familia system, and many of the old systems in Orario were based around the familia framework.

For example, the gentle goddess Demeter and Astraea.
Even though Sion didn't really want to face Hera unless it was necessary, only this kind of warm toned goddess could get along well with that old hag.
"Hmm, You seem to be a gentle man. It's hard to imagine that someone without a falna could achieve such great things."
After a long while, Astraea commented with great interest.
"You flatter me."
Sion looked at Astraea.
With long orange hair and a white dress, she was both gentle and sophisticated.
Her blue eyes were beautiful, just the type Sion liked.
"I was introduced by Hera, so I suppose she has told you about me."
Astraea skipped the pleasantries. "I don't know what you think but in my opinion, the gods and the familia are like family, and it's a two way choice."
"I would like to ask you a few questions, and of course you can ask me questions too."
Astraea had far more tact than a goddess like Hestia.
After a few short sentences, they got down to business. The interview had begun.
This was a mutual interview.
"That's how it should be," Sion nodded.
Some gods descended to the gekkai treating the entire place as a game board and the mortal inhabitants as mere pawns.
While others cared more about the mutual journey.
