The Heroines Can Read My Secret Diary

Chapter 489: Calypso, You Have Sought Death

Calypso, a familiar name. The sea goddess from Pirates of the Caribbean. Hakuto naturally remembered the plot of Pirates of the Caribbean.

He just hadn’t expected Calypso to be so audacious as to try to devour even Nyaruko.

Looking at Nyaruko, who had been beaten black and blue, a smile appeared on Hakuto’s face. “How did you become so weak? Getting beaten like this by such a lowlife?”

Nyaruko looked at Hakuto pitifully. “Master, you’re really mean. Shouldn’t you be avenging me right now? Why are you mocking me instead?”

Hakuto whistled, then looked at Nyaruko. “Alright, alright. I said I would help you get revenge, so I will.”

Hakuto ignored Nyaruko’s act of selling her misfortune. Although he was sure Nyaruko had indeed been beaten, it probably wasn’t as miserable as she looked. She had likely made herself look like this to get him to help her.

“Alright, you go for now. I’ll help you get revenge later. I still need to think it over.”

“Master!”

Nyaruko looked at Hakuto pitifully, but Hakuto felt no sympathy whatsoever.

What a joke. If Hakuto stupidly went to avenge Nyaruko just because she looked pitiful, he would be the fool.

After all, Calypso was still a god. Facing this kind of opponent for the first time, Hakuto still showed some respect. Of course, he wouldn’t let Calypso off. She had to die. After all, she was already an enemy.

Seeing Hakuto’s expression, Nyaruko left helplessly. Before long, Rindo walked in. Seeing Hakuto alone, she said, “Is the matter resolved?”

Hakuto shook his head. “Not resolved. It’s a bit troublesome instead.”

Rindo didn’t make a fuss this time. Now that Hakuto said it was troublesome, it must be troublesome. Usually, Rindo could be a bit unreasonable, but at critical moments, she was very rational.

Hakuto reached out, pulled Rindo onto his lap, and sniffed the faint fragrance emanating from her while his mind raced.

Rindo silently lay in Hakuto’s arms. Soon, he let out a breath.

After a long while, Hakuto suddenly exhaled. “I’ve been overthinking it.”

The other party’s strength might be considerable, but Hakuto clearly didn’t think Calypso was anything special. So the immediate problem was Rindo.

“You should go back first.”

What worried Hakuto was that something might happen to Rindo. To be safe, he decided to send her away first.

Realizing that staying would only make her a liability holding him back, Rindo nodded and stepped through the Anywhere Door that Hakuto opened.

With Rindo gone, Hakuto’s mind was completely at ease. Now that she was gone, he could prepare to act.

‘Calypso, what a dog-like thing!’

Just in time. Hakuto’s anti-Cthulhu-evil-god magical beast hadn’t been tested yet. He could use Calypso to try it out.

Hakuto’s eyes were set on killing.

This Calypso must die. No one could save her. Hakuto said so!

Following the address Nyaruko had left, Hakuto directly sought her out.

As a sea goddess, Calypso did not live in the sea, but on a small island instead.

This small island resembled a tropical rainforest, and Calypso dressed like a medieval witch.

Having been sought out by Hakuto, Calypso clearly hadn’t expected anyone to come looking for trouble with her.

Especially after sensing Hakuto’s danger, Calypso panicked.

“Who are you!”

Hakuto couldn’t even be bothered to respond. He swung the Da Xia Long Que in his hand. The next moment, Calypso felt her soul leave her body. But soon, Calypso muttered some unintelligible incantations, and thick black mist erupted from her body.

Hakuto’s slash was actually blocked by that black mist.

“This actually works?”

Hakuto muttered. Then he snapped his fingers. From his shadow, magical beast after magical beast emerged.

These magical beasts were like wolves, pitch black all over with only blood-red eyes.

Upon seeing Calypso, they let out whining sounds, then lunged directly at her.

The black mist on Calypso protected her from harm, but the wolves seemed capable of attacking the black mist as if it were solid.

Their claws and fangs easily tore through the black mist protecting Calypso. Under the wolves’ attack, the black mist grew thinner and thinner.

Calypso screamed, but Hakuto felt no pity or sympathy. He watched her with cold eyes.

A smile appeared on his lips. “Looks like my anti-evil-god magical beast is working pretty well.”

Calypso’s screams brought Hakuto a sense of pleasure.

But it wasn’t enough. Hakuto wanted the wolves to completely tear Calypso apart. Only by completely tearing apart Calypso would his heart be satisfied.

As the wolves attacked, the black mist on Calypso grew thinner and thinner. Just as it seemed about to disappear completely, Calypso’s pleas for mercy came from within the black mist.

“Spare me! I am willing to submit!”

Hakuto had no interest whatsoever. The fact that Calypso was offending him already made her deserving of death.

Seeing that Hakuto had no intention of accepting her surrender, Calypso let out a piercing shriek. “If you force me, we’ll both die. Don’t think I don’t have a trump card.”

“Is that so? Then use your trump card. Otherwise, you are dead today!”

With Hakuto’s words, Calypso let out a sharp scream. Then, the next moment, her body exploded into a cloud of blood mist, and from within this blood mist, a powerful force rushed directly at Hakuto.
