Chapter 487: The Caribbean Sea's Outer God Aura
Hakuto brought Rindo to the Caribbean Sea. This sea area exuded an aura that made him slightly uncomfortable.
“What’s wrong?”
Noticing the change in Hakuto’s expression, Rindo asked curiously. Hakuto shook his head. “Nothing. I just smell something here that I don’t particularly like.”
Hakuto detected a scent belonging to the Cthulhu Mythos here. So, unless something unexpected happened, there should be an avatar of an Outer God from the Cthulhu Mythos in the Caribbean Sea.
Who exactly, he couldn’t say for sure.
Rindo nodded and didn’t ask further.
Hakuto stretched lazily and then said to Rindo, “Let’s go. Find a place to rest first.”
Rindo looked at Hakuto curiously, wondering why he wanted to rest when he didn’t seem tired at all. Yet, he insisted on resting here.
She couldn’t figure it out, no matter how hard she tried.
Although curious, Rindo obediently followed behind Hakuto. He led her to a hotel, booked a room, and took her inside.
“You’re not thinking of doing that, are you?”
Rindo looked at Hakuto with a strange expression. Hakuto flicked her forehead and gave her a helpless look.
“Can’t you think about something normal?”
“What do you mean, can’t I think about something normal? It’s your actions that are misleading!”
Hakuto rolled his eyes and couldn’t be bothered to deal with her. He walked over to a sofa and sat down. Then he tapped the table, and a figure appeared out of thin air.
“Hehe, Master, Nyaruko reporting for duty!”
Looking at the silver-haired girl with an ahoge before him, Hakuto’s expression remained completely neutral.
“Tell me, why is there a Cthulhu Mythos aura here in the Caribbean?”
“Even if you ask me, Master, I wouldn’t know. After all, I’m just a poor, abandoned avatar now.”
Nyaruko put on a pitiful expression. Hakuto glanced at her, then casually tossed a silver fork, which immediately drew a scream from Nyaruko.
“Ow ow ow, Master, what are you doing!”
“Either answer my question honestly, or I’ll nail you to a cross like Jesus.”
“Are you the devil, Master!”
Nyaruko shrieked. Hakuto completely ignored her and instead turned his gaze out the window.
“So now, tell me. What’s going on?”
Nyaruko spread her hands. “I really don’t know. After all, I’ve been disconnected from the main body. The main body wouldn’t tell me this either. So if you want to know, Master, you might as well ask someone else.”
“If you don’t know, then go find out. I’ll give you three days. If I don’t have news by then, you can go keep Jesus company on the cross.”
After saying this, Hakuto ignored her and looked into the distance.
After Nyaruko left, grumbling, Rindo walked in from outside the room. “Are you done with your business?”
“If you have something to ask, just ask. Don’t beat around the bush like this.”
Rindo grinned. “Then will you tell me?”
“Of course not. Knowing these things wouldn’t do you any good.”
Hearing this, Rindo immediately raised a middle finger at Hakuto.
Hakuto glared at her, then pulled out an Ozone Herb.
Seeing the King of Vegetables, Ozone Herb, in Hakuto’s hand, Rindo’s eyes immediately locked onto it.
A stream of saliva involuntarily escaped the corner of her mouth. Rindo looked at Hakuto. “Is this something new you got? It looks really delicious.”
Hakuto looked at Rindo and waved the Ozone Herb. Its crisp, fresh appearance made her involuntarily swallow her saliva. She couldn’t take it anymore. It was too tempting!
Rindo lunged directly at the Ozone Herb in Hakuto’s hand and took a big bite.
But the next moment: “Ptooey, ptooey. Why is it so awful?”
Rindo frantically spat out the Ozone Herb from her mouth and looked at Hakuto in confusion.
“You took this out on purpose to mess with me, didn’t you?”
Hakuto ignored Rindo, discarded the now-awful-tasting Ozone Herb, and took out a new one.
Then, with lightning speed, he took a bite from the left and right sides simultaneously. He crunched and munched, and countless flavors of vegetables burst forth in his mouth.
Only then did Rindo realize the proper way to eat Ozone Herb!
But biting both sides simultaneously within a short time was clearly something Rindo couldn’t do. She looked at Hakuto.
“If you can’t do it, then two people need to bite down at the same time. It’s all about coordination.”
“I don’t care. I want to eat it.”
Rindo looked at Hakuto. He helplessly rolled his eyes and handed the Ozone Herb over. “Then we’ll take a bite together at the same time.”
After saying this, the two immediately bit down. With Hakuto’s cooperation, Rindo naturally didn’t fail.
“Wow, this one actually tastes like every vegetable I know.”
A blissful expression appeared on Rindo’s face. Hakuto looked at her speechlessly. If it weren’t for his help, what Rindo would be eating now wouldn’t be delicious, but dry, boring chaff.
But he didn’t say anything more and just let her continue being happy for a while.
He stretched lazily, then took out a glass of Rainbow Fruit juice. This was provided to Hakuto by Sonoka. How much Rainbow Fruit juice a single Rainbow Fruit could produce, Hakuto didn’t know.
Anyway, Sonoka had given Hakuto several tons of Rainbow Fruit juice.
Enough for him to drink until he got sick of it.
She had even given half a Rainbow Fruit to Hakuto.
