Chapter 405 Rebuild Your Kingdom on the Ruins
Morgan put down her phone, a solemn expression appearing on her face as she looked at Hakuto. "Sawamura Spencer Eriri has colluded with Outer Gods and taken control of Britain. Right now, Sawamura Spencer Eriri is the one giving all the orders in Britain!"
Upon hearing this, Hakuto clearly showed a look of stunned surprise. But then Hakuto laughed.
"Hehehe, hahaha. Sawamura Spencer Eriri really surprises me. I never expected her to grow to such an extent."
Morgan looked at Hakuto worriedly. "So what do you want to do? Artoria just called. I could sense that her aura was unstable. She was likely injured."
Hakuto looked at Morgan. "Don't you hate this little sister of yours? Why do you seem concerned now?"
Morgan's expression stiffened slightly, then she argued, "I'm not concerned about Artoria. I'm just concerned about Britain. After all, I am the future Queen of Britain. If Britain is destroyed, then whose queen would I be?"
Hakuto looked at Morgan, who was soft all over except for her hard mouth, and curled his lip, 'She really had a stubborn mouth!'
Then Hakuto began to contemplate his next move. Save Britain? Help Britain restore order and justice? Who's trying to joke? Did Hakuto have such a kind heart to help those pirates restore order and justice?
As for Morgan's feelings, that was even simpler. After destroying Britain, he would just rebuild a new Britain on the ruins of the old one!
Having made his decision, Hakuto looked at Morgan and said, "Let's just wait and see how things develop."
Morgan's expression changed immediately. Hakuto's words undoubtedly meant that he was going to watch Artoria die and watch Britain be destroyed.
Morgan clearly couldn't accept this outcome. She looked at Hakuto, wanting to plead for mercy, but didn't know how to say it.
Then Morgan gritted her teeth and said to Hakuto, "Take me there. Even if Artoria is going to die, she can only die by my hand."
Hakuto looked at Morgan, who was being stubborn, and shook his head. He was about to refuse, but saw Morgan say, "If you won't take me, then I'll go by myself."
Hakuto was speechless. He helplessly shook his head. "Fine."
Then Hakuto took Morgan to Britain.
Eventually, Morgan found Artoria in a safe house. Artoria's face was pale, and blood was still seeping through the bandages wrapped around her body.
Seeing Artoria's condition, a flash of anger immediately appeared in Morgan's eyes. Her palms clenched tightly into fists, her nails digging into her flesh, yet she felt no pain.
"You're such a waste. A mere Sawamura Spencer Eriri managed to injure you this badly. What good are you?"
But Artoria, being scolded by Morgan, didn't get angry. Instead, she looked at Morgan with a smile on her face.
"Sister, you're concerned about me."
Morgan seemed like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, instantly bristling all over.
"Nonsense! Who's concerned about you? You've just disgraced the royal family."
Watching Morgan's stubborn and flustered demeanor, Hakuto smiled, then said to Morgan, "Now that you've seen Artoria, go ahead and do it. Didn't you say that even if Artoria has to die, she can only die by your hand? So go ahead now and kill Artoria."
Morgan's expression instantly stiffened. Then she glared fiercely at Hakuto. Finally, with a cold face, she said, "I won't take advantage of someone in a vulnerable position. I'll do it when Artoria has recovered."
Hakuto shrugged and didn't say anything more, but his gaze made Morgan wish she could find a crack in the ground to crawl into.
Artoria smiled, her eyes full of tenderness as she looked at her older sister, Morgan.
Although she didn't know what had changed her attitude towards her sister, who had once detested her immensely, Artoria unquestionably liked the current Morgan more.
Then she coughed twice, looked at Hakuto with a serious expression, and said, "Last time you took me to that place, I felt the same aura on Sawamura Spencer Eriri."
Hakuto's brow twitched slightly as he looked at Artoria. "Are you sure?"
"I'm sure. And when she injured me, that power was extremely evil and chaotic. Originally, Eriri was just a weak girl, but now she easily defeated me."
"I couldn't even protect myself from Sawamura Spencer Eriri. If I hadn't managed to break out using the Holy Sword at the end, I would probably be dead by now."
Hakuto's expression became somewhat serious. Then he narrowed his eyes and asked, "Did you bring out the Legendary Cooking Utensil?"
A look of shame appeared on Artoria's face. Clearly, she had not been able to bring out the Legendary Cooking Utensil.
Seeing this, Hakuto did not ask further.
Then Artoria looked at Hakuto. "Hakuto, please help Britain restore order and justice. I can cede the throne to my sister, Morgan."
Morgan frowned and looked at Artoria. "Are you looking down on me? If I wanted the throne, I would take it myself. I don't need you to give it to me."
"Sister, this is not about pitying you. It is the best choice. This is the only condition that might make Hakuto willing to save Britain."
Hakuto looked at Artoria and chuckled lightly. "I don't need a Britain like that. If I wanted, I could rebuild a Britain on the ruins and give it to Morgan."
Artoria's expression changed slightly.
Meanwhile, Morgan let out a cold snort. "Instead of using the throne to buy Britain's salvation, why don't you become Hakuto's woman, using yourself as a condition to exchange for his help."
Hakuto and Artoria were both stunned. Neither expected Morgan to say such a thing. However, Hakuto indeed fell into thought. It didn't seem impossible.
Artoria looked at Hakuto, hesitation on her face, which then turned into determination. "If this can save Britain, then I am willing."
