Chapter 357 Mai: Openly Having a Harem and Telling Me to Join?
In the end, Koro-sensei kicked Hakuto out of the staff office. If he let Hakuto continue, he felt he might start to waver. So he couldn't let him continue.
This guy was a devil tempting people to fall. He absolutely could not be deceived.
Hakuto left the staff office and headed towards the students' classroom. But on the way, his phone suddenly rang. Looking at the caller ID: Sakurajima Mai.
'Why was Mai calling me?' Thinking this, Hakuto still answered.
"Miss Sakurajima, what's up?"
"Scumbag! After taking my first kiss, you haven't even made one phone call!"
Reminded by Mai, Hakuto suddenly remembered that he had indeed taken her first kiss. But...
"Alright, alright, Miss Sakurajima, if you're just calling about this, I'm going to hang up. If you have something to say, say it quickly. Don't be so indirect. I'm very busy."
The sound of Mai's teeth grinding came through the phone to Hakuto's ears. He knew she was so angry she could chew him up, but so what?
After a long while, Mai finally said in a helpless voice, "I want to ask you for a favor. A friend of mine has been missing for a year. I want you to find her. I want to see her alive, or see her body if she's dead."
"Male or female?"
Hakuto raised an eyebrow, a hint of displeasure involuntarily in his voice. On the other end of the line, Mai suddenly seemed to notice something. "Are you jealous?"
"What nonsense are you talking about? Why would I be jealous? Just tell me, male or female?"
"Male."
"Then why should I care if he's dead? Goodbye."
Hakuto directly hung up. On the other end, listening to the dial tone, Mai couldn't help but laugh. There was a hint of smugness in her eyes.
'This guy, even though he pretended not to care, actually got jealous, didn't he?'
Then, Mai sent a photo and some documents to Hakuto. Then, as if thinking of something funny, she giggled again.
On the other side, Hakuto hung up in annoyance. Then a message appeared on his phone. Opening it, he raised an eyebrow and realized Mai had tricked him.
The person Mai wanted Hakuto to find was actually a girl. An actress named Mase Haruna. She was a very talented child actress, as famous as Mai. But she was younger than her, only 15 now.
She had disappeared a year ago. Mai couldn't reach her, had hired private investigators, but couldn't find her. So she came to Hakuto.
Looking at the photo in the message, Hakuto found it a bit familiar. Then he quickly remembered who this person was.
Mase Haruna. That was the stage name of Kayano Kaede, also known as Yukimura Akari. She had disappeared a year ago, probably because her older sister, Yukimura Aguri, had died.
To take revenge, Kaede had disguised her identity and created a false persona.
"What a coincidence."
Hakuto typed an email and sent it back.
On the other end, after receiving the email, Mai looked at its contents with a conflicted expression.
[I'll find the person for you. After I find her, you'll obediently become one of my lovers. If you dare refuse, I'll just kidnap you. And I'll have my way with that Mase Haruna too.]
Mai wasn't conflicted about whether Hakuto would actually do anything to Mase Haruna. She was conflicted about whether to agree to his demand.
And this bastard had explicitly said "one of my lovers", openly wanting a harem. But after just a moment's hesitation, Mai replied with one word: Okay.
Did Mai like Hakuto?
That was inevitable. For her sake, Hakuto had fought against all of Gensokyo. As the hero who saved her, how could she not feel favorably towards him?
She hadn't contacted him before because she had her pride. This time, using the excuse of finding Mase Haruna, she had finally taken the initiative to call.
So when Hakuto proposed his terms, she was a bit conflicted but ultimately agreed.
Seeing Mai's reply on his phone, Hakuto was also a bit surprised. But then he smiled slightly, put away his phone, and walked into the classroom.
He looked around and saw Kaede by the window.
But he didn't approach her. Instead, he went to the podium and wrote his name.
"From now on, I'll be teaching your home economics class."
The students, looking at Hakuto, who wasn't much older than them, were speechless and dumbfounded.
"Wait, you're the Super Chef Yagami Hakuto? The genius who became a Super Chef at 16!"
Suddenly, Kaede stood up and exclaimed in surprise. The other students also looked at Hakuto in disbelief.
Hakuto just smiled slightly. "I think I'm more than qualified to be your home economics teacher."
Everyone in the classroom nodded unconsciously. A Super Chef teaching home economics? He was more than qualified.
"Alright, then clean up and get ready for class."
A smile appeared on Hakuto's face as he looked at the students. Then he said to them, "But for now, I don't know how good your home economics grades are. If I teach you recipes that are too difficult, you won't be able to learn them. So for the first class, each of you will just show me what you're good at."
"As for any ingredients you need, you can ask that tentacle monster outside the door. He's in charge of the ingredients you need. Your Koro-sensei is paying."
Everyone immediately looked at the door and saw Koro-sensei with his face pressed against the glass. A smile full of pure (or rather, devilish) innocence appeared on his face.
