Until they walked out the banquet hall doors and Fu Nancheng placed her back in the car, Qiao Mo’s cheeks remained flushed.
Noticing the man sitting beside her after getting in the car, Qiao Mo turned her head toward the window somewhat uneasily.
It was only after a few minutes that she remembered she was still holding the Qiao family’s property certificate in her hand.
She turned her head to look at him, and he was pretending to nap, his brows furrowed, seemingly in a bad mood.
Qiao Mo guessed that he was probably not asleep, hesitated for a moment, then gently placed the document in her hand onto his lap.
"Mr. Fu...this is yours."
Fu Nancheng slightly opened his eyes, glanced at it, and said nothing.
Qiao Mo deliberated for a moment and then softly said, "Mr...Fu, thank you for helping me out of trouble today."
