Then, with a ’bang!’, she tossed the plate onto the table.
Everything went silent instantly. Two slices of cream cake mixed with fruits plastered over Qiao Yin’s face, large swathes of cream and jam tangling with her hair, making her look utterly ridiculous.
Qiao Mo looked coldly at the people in front of her, her icy gaze sweeping across each of them.
"Is this ever going to end? Or do I really need to prove just how much of an ungrateful wretch I can be?!"
Qiao Mo spoke in a cold voice. Zhao Hongxia and Qiao Dehou were momentarily stunned, unwilling to back down, but they didn’t dare to speak further when faced with her cold eyes, not even understanding what was so terrifying about the woman standing before them.
The sticky sensation of white cream and dark chocolate ganache covered her face, blocking her eyes, nose, and mouth, making Qiao Yin almost go mad. She raised her hand trying to wipe off the vast amounts of cream, but instead only smeared it further over herself. Even a few blueberries and strawberries from the plate got embedded in the cream, hanging from her face.
The whole hall went completely silent, all eyes on Qiao Mo and Qiao Yin.
