Even though Su Wan was reluctant thousands and thousands of times over, she had promised to attend, so she couldn’t back out at the last minute. After all, she wouldn’t be drinking, and God couldn’t drink since he drove, so it would be alright to go in, stay for a while, and then leave.
Xu Chengyang’s group had just arrived not long ago. Su Wan and Fu Weiheng walked in one after the other, and from a distance, they could see the group sitting on the large booths in front of the dance floor.
They were probably the last to arrive, and when the others saw them coming, they all stood up to give Fu Weiheng a seat.
Su Wan was surprised, feeling she had benefited from his presence.
Fu Weiheng nodded slightly at them and led Su Wan to sit in the corner of the booth.
Xu Chengyang and Yao Ye immediately switched seats with others to sit next to Su Wan, each holding a freshly mixed glass of foreign liquor, placing them in front of Fu Weiheng and Su Wan, the intention clear.
Su Wan looked at their mischievous smiles and said grumpily, "Not drinking!"
"Oh, oh, oh, got some attitude, I see." Xu Chengyang turned with his drink, aiming at Fu Weiheng, "God, have a drink, won’t you?"
Tonight, Fu Weiheng, for once, was surprisingly easygoing. He raised an eyebrow, lifted his hand to take the glass of amber liquor, but Su Wan reached out to stop him, raising her voice, "Don’t drink, you’re driving!"
"Wanwan, don’t cause trouble," Yao Ye leaned over to press down Su Wan’s hand, "Are you worried? Just hire a driver if you’re driving!"
"Exactly, he’s my senior brother, he must have a drink!" Xu Chengyang insisted seriously, emphasizing in a solemn tone.
