When Su Wan snapped back to reality, she found Fu Weiheng had somehow ended the call and was standing in front of her, leaning down to make eye contact. His deep, dark eyes made Su Wan’s heart skip a beat, and she froze on the sofa, unsure of what to do.
As Fu Weiheng’s handsome face drew near, Su Wan came to her senses, her gaze falling on his lips, suddenly feeling dry-throated and flustered: "You... what do you want to do..."
Fu Weiheng remained motionless, slightly tilting his long eyelashes, his voice low and enticing: "Kiss you."
Su Wan’s throat tightened, she quickly turned her head and sprang up, nervously sputtering: "I, need to go to the bathroom!"
Watching her flee in disarray, Fu Weiheng couldn’t help but chuckle, casually picking up the cello from the sofa and following her out.
When Su Wan emerged from the bathroom, Fu Weiheng was already waiting by the elevator. He was looking down at his phone, her cello slung over his left shoulder. Standing there, his posture was tall and graceful, the hallway lights casting a soft shadow across his features, making him appear irresistibly handsome.
Su Wan glanced at him for a moment, thinking to herself: He really is good-looking.
She stepped forward, pressed the elevator button, and stood beside Fu Weiheng, reaching out to take the cello: "Let me have it."
Fu Weiheng, however, held her hand instead, his eyes full of tenderness and indulgence: "It’s too heavy, let me do it."
Her figure was reflected in his dark pupils, unfathomable.
