SSS Awakening: Conquering Worlds with My Cupid System

Chapter 108: Title: Exalted Orc Dominator

Silas’s smile slowly widened. The grin wasn’t arrogant, but rather showed excitement. His Fate Thread Vision stretched toward the colossal green rift, weaving through the countless strands of fate that spilled from its interior. The deeper his perception reached, the brighter one particular thread became.

Something was waiting. Something stronger than everything currently rampaging through the streets.

"Found you."

He rolled his shoulders before looking back at the others.

"I’m going in."

The sentence stunned everyone.

"What?" Anna’s eyes widened.

"Silas-"

Chloe had barely spoken when he raised a hand.

"The Rift Break won’t stop." His gaze remained fixed on the enormous portal. "It’ll keep spitting monsters out until the source is dealt with."

Military helicopters had begun circling overhead, hunter units poured into the streets, explosions echoed in the distance, but none of it mattered, not while the rift remained open.

Silas looked toward Chloe.

"You stay here."

"..."

"You know what to do."

Her icy blue eyes met his glowing pink ones. For only a second, they understood each other completely. Then Silas grinned.

"Besides..." He cracked his neck. "I’ve been wanting to test something."

His eyes flashed, and a notification appeared before him.

[Title Activated!]

[Exalted Orc Dominator.]

[Manifesting Authority...]

Mana erupted from his body, causing a deafening roar that shook the surrounding streets; pink mana mixed with emerald-green energy, spiraling around him like a violent cyclone.

The air grew heavy, buildings trembled, and even the remaining Crimson Warfowl instinctively retreated.

"W-What’s happening?"

Dominic whispered. The answer came seconds later. The mana condensed into a gigantic translucent figure. A towering twenty-foot avatar materialized around Silas.

It resembled the Exalted Orc King he’d slain, yet its features had changed. Its body was broader, wrapped in glowing thread-like patterns instead of crude tribal markings. Four luminous pink arrows floated behind its shoulders, while countless faint threads drifted around it like flowing hair.

At its center, Silas stood where the giant’s heart would have been. The enormous avatar mirrored every movement he made.

Utter silence.

A Hunter captain arriving with reinforcements nearly dropped his weapon.

"T-That’s... That’s a Manifestation..."

"Impossible..."

"He never told me he could do that," Anna said in shock.

Gromda folded her arms proudly and nodded like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "My mate."

Alpha slowly looked up.

"Does he ever stop pulling nonsense out of nowhere?"

The system answered before Silas could.

[Title Synchronization Complete.]

[Physical Parameters Increased.]

[Fear Aura Released.]

The surviving Warfowl immediately began backing away. Some even turned around, trying to flee.

"So even monsters know fear," Silas laughed.

He bent his knees, and the gigantic avatar copied him perfectly. Cracks spread beneath its massive feet, causing the street to cave in. Chunks of asphalt floated from the overwhelming pressure.

Silas turned his head one last time.

"Chloe. Go all out."

"..."

"You’ve been holding back because I was around."

His smile widened.

"I wanna see what an Ice Empress really looks like."

For a brief moment, Chloe stared at him. Then she smiled.

"Don’t complain later."

"I won’t."

Silas looked toward Anna.

"Keep everyone alive."

Anna sighed helplessly. "As if you’d listen even if I said no."

He chuckled.

"Gromda."

The giantess beat her fist against her chest.

"I protect."

"Good."

He looked toward Alpha.

"Try not to die."

"That’s your farewell?"

"What?"

"I expected something inspiring."

Silas shrugged. "I believe in you."

Alpha smiled despite himself.

"That’ll do."

Silas inhaled deeply, and the colossal avatar did the same.

Then...

BOOOOOOOOOOM!!

The ground beneath him exploded. A crater dozens of meters wide formed instantly as the giant launched itself skyward like a missile. The sonic boom shattered nearby windows.

Everyone instinctively looked up as the twenty-foot avatar soared through the air, straight toward the swirling green rift.

Without slowing down, Silas disappeared into its depths. The portal rippled violently before becoming still once more.

Silence lingered for a while. Then a freezing wind swept across the battlefield. Everyone shivered. while Chloe slowly stepped forward. Her white hair began floating.

Frost spread beneath her feet. The temperature plummeted so quickly that nearby fires started dying out under layers of ice. She looked toward the thousands of monsters still flooding the city.

Her blue eyes glowed.

"My turn."

An instant later, the night became white.

***

The moment Silas crossed the green rift, the world flipped upside down. For a fraction of a second, there was nothing, only an endless tunnel of swirling green mana rushing past him. Then he landed.

The impact alone flattened everything within a thirty-meter radius. Dust shot into the air while cracks spread like spiderwebs beneath the giant avatar’s feet. Silas slowly straightened.

The sky above him wasn’t blue.

It was a dull emerald color, streaked with dark clouds that constantly churned as though a storm had frozen in place.

Towering trees, each over three hundred feet tall, stretched endlessly across the landscape. Their trunks were crimson instead of brown, while their leaves shimmered with metallic silver under the strange light.

The air smelled warm, dry, and strangely like roasted meat.

"I’m hungry."

The system remained silent. It had apparently given up commenting on his priorities.

Silas looked around, and his Fate Thread Vision expanded. Countless threads spread through the forest, seeing everything.

"Found you." The ground suddenly shook.

CLACK!

A deafening cry echoed through the forest. Branches snapped as several enormous figures burst through the trees. Seven-foot Crimson Warfowl, hundreds of them.

Unlike the ones on Earth, these were larger. Their feathers possessed a metallic sheen. Some even radiated mana. The system answered immediately.

[Crimson Warfowl.]

[Rank: D.]

[Native Variant.]

[Combat Experience: High.]

"They look... tastier."

[...]

The first Warfowl charged, but Silas smiled.

"Perfect."

He dismissed the giant avatar. His own body would be enough for this. The avatar was solely for farming aura. Nothing else. Don’t judge. The chicken lunged, its beak piercing through the air like a spear.

Silas sidestepped, grabbed its neck, and spun. The chicken became an oversized projectile and crashed into six others. Feathers exploded into the air while trees snapped in half.

"Strike!"

Silas laughed while three more charged. His fingers flicked, and invisible Razor Threads crossed the battlefield.

The monsters never noticed. They continued running only for their bodies to be separated into perfectly even pieces before collapsing onto the forest floor.

"Spare."

Another leaped from above. Silas didn’t even look. He casually raised one finger, and a Thread Spear erupted upward. The Warfowl skewered itself.

"Turkey."

The slaughter began. Silas dashed forward, his every step shattering the ground. Each punch erased a monster. Every kick sent another flying through dozens of trees.

Feathers filled the air like snow. His movements became smoother. He wasn’t thinking anymore. He just moved. The Warfowl surrounded him from every direction.

Thousands of crimson eyes glowed as a sea of feathers descended upon him.

Silas grinned.

"Come on!"

His Web Domain expanded. Hundreds of invisible threads spread through the forest. The charging monsters entered, and the forest exploded.

Thread Spears erupted everywhere. Razor Threads carved through the battlefield. Entire groups vanished before reaching him.

Even so, they kept coming like a tide... They were buying time.

Silas frowned when he noticed it.

"That’s odd."

These monsters weren’t stupid. They had been attacking recklessly from the start, almost as if they were distractions. His Thread Sight immediately spread farther. It pierced through the battlefield until it stopped.

Silas’s pupils contracted.

"Found you."

Far beyond the battlefield, perched atop a mountain taller than the surrounding peaks, stood an enormous silhouette, nearly thirty feet tall.

Its feathers were no longer crimson. They shimmered like molten gold. Six wings rested behind its body while its crown resembled burning metal.

Even from kilometers away, its eyes were staring directly at Silas.

"Well... There you are."

Silas bent his knees while the mountain in the distance exploded. The golden creature vanished.

Silas’s instincts screamed. A pressure unlike anything he’d felt since the Exalted Orc King crashed into him from above.

SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

The world turned gold. Silas instinctively crossed his arms. An enormous golden talon descended from the heavens.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!

The collision flattened the entire forest. Hundreds of trees were uprooted instantly. Mountains trembled. The shockwave tore clouds apart. Even the countless surviving Warfowl were blown away like feathers.

At the center of the devastation, Silas slid backward for nearly two hundred meters, carving a deep trench through solid rock before finally stopping.

For the first time in a long while, his forearms stung. A single drop of blood rolled down one finger.

Silas looked at it and smiled.

"Finally."

Across from him, the colossal golden chicken unfolded its six radiant wings. Its eyes glowed like miniature suns. The pressure it radiated eclipsed everything he’d encountered since he awakened.

The system finally spoke.

[Warning!]

Silas rolled his shoulders, his pink eyes blazing with anticipation.

"Now this looks worth punching."
