Chapter 33 Lin Mubai’s Scheme
Yeah, you can’t let your wife and daughter go hungry.
Lin Mubai thought to himself, his gaze falling on her belly, filled with expectation and intrigue. He really hoped they could have a daughter, a daughter like her. In this lifetime, he would give her the best of everything, allowing her to grow up like a princess. If it were a son, he would also teach him everything wholeheartedly, teaching him to protect Mom and his sister.
Mentioning food, An Nan suddenly realized she was indeed hungry. When hungry, she needed to eat. An Nan habitually didn’t ask the other person and turned to leave directly.
Lin Mubai was caught a bit off guard by her sudden turn, quickly catching up with a joyful look instead of annoyance in his eyes.

Lin Mubai, quick-eyed and deft, reached out to hold her slender waist. His concerned voice simultaneously reached her ears, "Are you okay? Did you bump into anything?"
Feeling his warm breath on her face, An Nan suddenly felt hot and quickly took a step back.
With such an obvious dodge, Lin Mubai narrowed his eyes, extending his hand to pull her back into his embrace.
Trapped and unable to move, especially on the streets which already attracted many side glances, An Nan’s only thought was to escape.
