Chapter 27: An Nan is Angry
An Nan finally walked into a cufflinks shop, where the cufflinks were usually custom-made, with few repeats. An Nan decided to choose a gift here; she didn’t want to trouble herself any further.
After wandering around the shop, An Nan finally found a pair of cufflinks she liked.
They were a pair of purple diamond cufflinks, which didn’t quite match Xi Shaoqi, but An Nan liked them, so she decided on them.
"Wrap up this pair of cufflinks."
Before An Nan could speak, a loud female voice rang in her ears. Immediately, she saw the clerk taking out the pair of purple diamond cufflinks she fancied from the glass display and preparing to wrap them. An Nan quickly spoke to stop him, "I saw them first."
After speaking, she turned her head to look beside her: a handsome man and a beautiful woman. She didn’t recognize the man, yet her gaze couldn’t help but linger on him for a moment before landing on the woman next to him. She looked somewhat familiar, but An Nan couldn’t remember where she had seen her before.
Forget about it; now is not the time to think about these things. The most important thing is to negotiate with these two in front of her to let her have the cufflinks. She really doesn’t have the energy to wander the mall again to choose a gift.
