Then Arya and Miyuki left the house.
They quietly walked through the alley.
As they walked, Miyuki looked at Arya.
From her point of view, she had to look up because she was still a ten-year-old girl, while Arya had changed into his eighteen-year-old form.

"Why did you kill that person too?"
"He didn’t do anything."

Miyuki looked confused.
"Telepathy?"
She didn’t know what that magic was.
Arya explained,
"Telepathy is a magic that lets us talk directly through our minds."
"Other people won’t be able to hear what we’re saying."
After hearing that, Miyuki’s eyes lit up.
"That’s a great magic."
"From now on, we don’t have to speak quietly anymore."
Arya nodded.
Then both of them continued walking.
After a few more minutes...
They headed toward the Lord’s Mansion.
But before reaching it...
They had to cross several small security checkpoints.
Many guards were standing there, carefully watching everyone who entered and left.
The closer they got...
The tighter the security became.
The Lord’s Mansion was located in the middle of that entire area.
Around it stood another massive stone wall.
Unlike the town wall, this one was built only to protect the mansion.
Several guard towers surrounded it in a perfect circle.
Guards patrolled every corner without stopping.
Anyone trying to approach the mansion would have to pass through multiple layers of security first.
Then Arya looked at the dangerous area.
If both of them went there together, they would have to stay close to each other because they needed the ring to become invisible.
But they only had one ring.
Right now, Miyuki was wearing it.
It would be difficult to search like that.
Without saying anything else...
Arya gently grabbed Miyuki’s hand.
Before she could even react...
Both of them disappeared.
The next moment, they were back inside the house where they had stayed the previous night.
After they arrived there, Miyuki looked around in confusion.
"Why are we here again?"

"You stay here."

Arya interrupted her.

Before leaving, Arya had already created invisible barriers around the house.

Some stayed inside.
The others hid outside, silently guarding every direction.
Arya also placed a magic item on the door handle.
Just like before.
If anyone tried to open the door or enter the barriers...
He would know immediately.
Then Arya slowly reached out his hand.
Miyuki quietly took off the ring from her finger and handed it to him.
The moment the ring left her finger...
Her illusion disappeared.
Her fox ears and fluffy tail appeared once again.
She returned to her real demi-human form.
Arya took the ring, looked at Miyuki one last time, and quietly nodded.
Then he put the ring on his own finger.
His body slowly disappeared from sight as the invisibility activated.
Without making a single sound...
Arya left the house alone.
