I Can Program My Body?

Chapter 734: Faith Crystal

Faith Condensation, condensing a strand of faith into a physical state, allowing one to take it out into the real world.

"Is this the Faith Crystal?" Nash tossed it around, thinking about how to utilize it.

According to the archive of knowledge in the Altier Arcane Tower, this Faith Crystal was useful for strengthening the will, spirit, and soul. It could even induce the birth of life. However, the downsides weren’t simple either. Faith is a corrosive power; touch it, and one would be influenced until they were assimilated by its power.

"Perhaps I could use this to earn high-tier resources." Nash mused.

The Dark Energy Purification Device was already sufficient for earning Void Source Crystals. For higher-tier resources like Chaos Stones, he needed another product.

"Not for now..." Nash ultimately held back the plan.

It was still too early; there was still much he had to do. Furthermore, Chaos Stones weren’t much needed at the moment. Thus, instead of making money, it was better to settle for a moment and digest everything.

Putting the Faith Crystal back into storage, Nash continued his routine: completing the virtualization of law, taking trials in the Altier Arcane Tower, and paying attention to the population settlement in the Neon Star Alliance.

---

Eight months later, since the start of the population expansion plan, the newly acquired planetary systems had roughly settled around the Neon Star Alliance Territory.

"Supreme Leader, before we activate the dark gates, we should first expand the number of public trading zones, or instead build a military outpost," Julius suggested, laying out his plan.

Currently, there were already 29 dark gates in the Neon Star Domain. Although an additional 10 had been built months ago, they hadn’t been activated so as not to affect the population settlement.

"Building military outposts? That’s indeed a feasible idea." Nash nodded in agreement.

Now that most cosmic team alliances were stripped bare, with only the cosmic elites remaining, forming a mobile team meant they no longer needed a comprehensive settlement area, just a place to replenish supplies and rest from time to time.

The advantage of a military outpost lay right here: it was small, could be filled with defensive weapons, and could be placed anywhere without worrying about sustainability.

They could even position these military outposts at various nodes to better control the flow of dark beasts.

"How long do you need to build enough military outposts?"

Although the plan was good, he didn’t want to delay it too much. They were already dragging behind; any more and they would be left further.

"Just three months, and we should be able to build enough military outposts to quickly contain the danger of the dark gates," Julius said with confidence.

Last time, it only took them 6 months to build 10 dark gates. However, controlling such a large inflow of dark beasts took over a year and a half. With military outposts, they should be able to cut that time down by a year.

"Good, then three months it is. I’ll see if I can buy some items to support your plan."

"Oh, I remember, the Altier Convention is about two weeks away, isn’t it?"

"That’s right. Time surely flies." Without him noticing, another five years had quickly gone by.

---

Two weeks later...

With the arrival of the Altier Convention, all operations were temporarily halted as they converged within the tower.

Such a time was a rare opportunity for various cosmic team alliances to buy the resources they wanted. Especially the teams in the Neon Star Domain. Although they had money, they had nowhere to spend it.

While waiting for the trading segment, they listened to the topics of the convention. The topic this time was the progress of the exploration of the unexplored domain areas, from how much area they had explored, what their harvest was, what they discovered, etc.

After sharing everything of interest, Primos once again invited everyone to join in. There were still a lot of top-level teams sitting it out. Sharing the results was done in hopes that they would join.

"For our next exploration, we will be dividing the group into seven, each led by one of the major teams. For those who want to join, feel free to pick which group to follow." Primos ended his speech, letting his subordinates continue the campaign.

"So they’re no longer satisfied with just one unexplored domain area." Nash thought with interest.

This could mean multiple things, like the harvest being better than expected, the danger that couldn’t be handled with their strength alone, or other hidden benefits.

"Should I let the Neon Star Alliance join?" Since there wasn’t much danger, there wasn’t much harm in them taking part in the profit. Coupled with their relationship with the three major teams, it wouldn’t be a problem to profit safely.

"What should we do, Supreme Leader?" Julius asked, seeing him in deep thought.

"No need to move for now. I’ll see what they bring to the auction. If it’s really promising, then it’s not too late to join." The briefing earlier was just a summary of what they harvested. The real goods should be sold at the auction.

"What about the population trade?"

"Hmm, continue. You can tell them the results of teams in the Neon Star Domain. Invite more teams if possible."

Having benefited from the power of will, Nash naturally wanted more. Although people were hard to maintain and occupied a lot of resources, they held infinite potential.

Leaving Julius and the others to their own devices, Nash took Camilla and Elizabeth to the second floor.

Altier Auction Hall.

As Nash walked through the door, all eyes turned to him. Unlike the previous convention, their eyes didn’t contain a hint of probing or curiosity, but admiration.

"Hello, I’m from the Goss Team Alliance, Reyven. Are you Nash Navre? I hope to talk about something. Are you free after the auction?"

"I’m Tael, representing the Krovan team alliance. We would also like to discuss something with you."

"I’ve long admired your name. Pleased to meet you, I’m Sorrin, the leader of the Ashvale team alliance."

"Welcome, Nash Navre, I’m..."

Before they could even sit, Nash was swarmed by dozens of leaders from various other top teams. Facing this situation, Nash didn’t panic; in fact, he somewhat expected the result.

With his performance in the Altier Arcane Tower, climbing to the 1,099th floor, his strength had been proven to be at the top of this cosmic competition, just below the major-level teams.

Latching on to the Neon Star Alliance, or even just forging a partnership, was naturally the expected course of events.

"Let’s take a seat first. We’ll discuss everything after the auction..."
