"Honey, I don't know how to tell your mom."
Xu Bin sighed, "It's like your sister's husband finding a job this time, just a security guard making over 4,000 a month, still not as much as my scattered investments."
"But you know her, it's hard to explain these things she doesn't understand."
"Besides, this is our own money. After we got married, I've been so busy and irritable, I just want to save up and buy a house, no matter how small, it's our own little world."
Xu Bin kissed her cheek, his expression sincere, "We can't keep living with others forever."
Hearing this, Yao Nan's heart bloomed with joy and happiness. She softly said, "Honey, I knew it, you're the most reliable and down-to-earth person I know."
Xu Bin smiled, "Once we have our own place, we can do whatever we want, whenever we want, unlike last night when we had to sneak around like thieves."
Yao Nan blushed, "You're so naughty. Last night, didn't I do everything you wanted?"
They flirted and finished their wonderful meal. Holding hands, they went shopping, buying lots of snacks before heading home.
For dinner, the mother-in-law didn't come home, and they went out again, making Yao Nan incredibly happy. The only downside was that she was sore and walking was uncomfortable.
That night, the mother-in-law said she wouldn't be home for dinner and went out to play mahjong, probably avoiding them.
