Pirate: I'm! Golden Lion Jr

Chapter 270

Chapter 270

"Alright, let’s get back to business," Rorschach said, giving Peacock’s butt a light slap as a signal for her to return to her position. He then turned his attention back to Belo Betty and Clara.

The two Revolutionary Army women exchanged glances. They weren’t quite used to this kind of casual, almost flirtatious interaction between pirates. It felt a little too unrestrained for their tastes.

"Everything you mentioned earlier doesn’t really matter to me," Rorschach continued calmly.

He wasn’t short on manpower. With the new recruits, Golden Lion’s old subordinates, and Judge’s cloned human forces, he had more than enough people. As for intelligence, he already knew a great deal about the secrets of this world — possibly more than the Revolutionary Army itself. The only things he didn’t know were events that hadn’t happened in the original timeline yet.

So why would he need the Revolutionary Army to provide him with information?

"Mr. Rorschach, what exactly do you mean?" Belo Betty asked, her expression turning serious. "Please speak plainly. As long as it’s something the Revolutionary Army has and can provide, we will do our best."

Compared to the less experienced Clara, Belo Betty was sharper. She could tell that Rorschach had something specific in mind.

Rorschach clapped his hands with a satisfied smile.

"Good! Straightforward. Then I’ll be direct."

"Manpower? I don’t need it. Intelligence? I don’t need that either. But I am quite interested in two particular people from the Revolutionary Army. I wonder if you’d be willing to let them go?"

"If you agree... then I can help the Revolutionary Army once with that so-called plan of yours. Even if it means attacking Mary Geoise, I’ll lend a hand."

Belo Betty’s brows furrowed slightly.

Rorschach’s willingness to cooperate — and even offer to attack Mary Geoise — was extremely tempting. Their current plan did involve Mary Geoise. Having Rorschach’s strength on their side would greatly increase their chances of success.

But... people?

Which two people from the Revolutionary Army could he possibly want?

She couldn’t figure it out. On one hand, the Revolutionary Army never forced its members to do things against their will — especially something as serious as leaving the organization to join another force.

"Could you tell us who these two people are first?" Belo Betty asked cautiously. "We’ll need to discuss it internally before giving an answer. As you know, the Revolutionary Army doesn’t force its comrades to do things they don’t want to do."

Rorschach looked at her with a meaningful smile.

"Are you sure you want to know?"

"Please speak," Belo Betty and Clara replied, though both felt a sense of unease.

"It’s not anyone else," Rorschach said, his gaze sweeping over the two women. "It’s the two of you."

"As everyone knows, I, Rorschach, don’t have many hobbies. Power and wealth mean nothing to me. I already have strength. The only small hobby I have left... is women."

"Would the two of you from the Revolutionary Army be willing to stay on my island?"

"W-What?! Us?!" Clara pointed at herself in shock, her face instantly turning red.

She and Belo Betty looked at each other. Both could see the helplessness in the other’s eyes.

We’re finished... We’ve walked right into the tiger’s den.

They never expected that Rorschach’s real target was them.

"This matter..." Belo Betty said with a complicated expression, "could we discuss it with our leader first before giving an answer?"

Clara was already too flustered to speak properly. She fidgeted nervously, her face burning red as she occasionally stole glances at Rorschach while muttering under her breath. Even Rorschach couldn’t quite make out what she was saying.

This flustered, girlish reaction made Rorschach smile in amusement. It was quite entertaining.

Peacock, on the other hand, was secretly celebrating.

From the looks of it, the two women didn’t seem willing to accept Rorschach’s condition. Saying they needed to "discuss" it was probably just an excuse to escape this place.

She didn’t even need to do anything — Rorschach had already ruined the chance of cooperation on his own.

What a lustful fool, she thought.

"Please, go ahead," Rorschach said, raising his hand generously. "Would you like to return to your headquarters in person, or would you prefer to contact them via Den Den Mushi?"

"I think it would be better to return to headquarters first," Belo Betty replied with a complicated look. "My position is quite sensitive. As an officer of the Revolutionary Army, I can’t make decisions like this on my own."

She wasn’t actually lacking the authority to decide — it was just a convenient excuse. More than anything, she needed time to think and weigh the pros and cons.

She was willing to sacrifice herself for the revolution, but right now she needed to calm down and think clearly.

"Understood. I’ll be waiting for your good news," Rorschach said with a smile. "I have high hopes for our ’alliance.’ I don’t think you’ll disappoint me."

His words carried an unmistakable undertone.

You wouldn’t want the Revolutionary Army to make an enemy out of me, would you?

It sounded like a threat — because it was.

A powerful Yonko was not someone the Revolutionary Army wanted as an enemy.

"...I understand," Belo Betty said helplessly.

"Very good. Take this," Rorschach said, handing her a Den Den Mushi. "Contact me when you’re ready."

"Mr. Rorschach, I hope that the next time we meet, I can bring our leader to speak with you in person. I hope you won’t refuse."

Belo Betty took the Den Den Mushi and passed it to Clara. Her expression was complicated as she spoke.

She was wearing an open jacket without a bra underneath, so she had no way to store it in the usual "women’s storage space." She could only have Clara hold onto it for now.

"No problem. Contact me whenever you’re ready."

Rorschach accepted her request without hesitation.

He was also curious to meet one of the most mysterious figures in the pirate world — Monkey D. Dragon.

"Then we won’t disturb you any longer. Thank you very much for meeting with us personally, Mr. Rorschach."

Belo Betty gave a polite bow.

"It was my pleasure. I quite enjoyed talking with you as well."

"I’ll have Little Silver send you off. It can take you to any island you need."

"Then we’ll be troubling you, Mr. Rorschach."

The two women accepted his offer. After all, they had no ship of their own to leave on. Without help, they wouldn’t be able to reach another island from this floating landmass in the sky.
