Natsuki had Nonō and Nawaki wait at the entrance while he entered the priestess's temple alone.

"Lord Natsuki."

Miroku took the initiative to greet him and handed him a letter.

"Thank you."

Natsuki opened the letter and read it once.

"When I have time, I'll return to the Land of Demons. See you next time."

He put away the letter, walked out of the priestess's temple, and headed toward Konoha with Nonō and Nawaki.

Miroku ran a few steps to the entrance and watched their backs disappear, feeling a little dazed.

The mission Miroku had issued to Konoha had been simple. She had only asked Natsuki to visit the Land of Demons.

But since he had been gone for an entire month, there had clearly been another mission.

"Hokage-sama, this is the letter Her Grace asked me to give you."

Natsuki handed Miroku's letter over.

"The details of the mission are written inside."

Hiruzen opened the letter and began reading.

The last time Mōryō had broken free, Konoha had also sent shinobi to support the Land of Demons.
