He changed his clothes, walked to the window, and stretched.

After awakening the Blueno Template yesterday, he planned to have the Akatsuki orphanage continue recruiting people.

After gaining a basic understanding of Super Strength, Natsuki found some time to visit the metropolis in the Land of Rain.

He could also teach Rankyaku to Yahiko, Konan, and Nagato while he was there.

Before Natsuki even approached the courtyard, he heard the sounds of fighting.

He raised an eyebrow and walked over curiously.

Standing at the entrance, he looked into the courtyard and discovered that the two combatants were Fūshin and Yahiko.

Chino, Konan, and Nagato stood off to the side, watching the battle.

After thinking for a moment, Natsuki remained where he was and continued watching.

"Typhoon Release: Strong Wind Blast!"

Fūshin formed hand seals.

A violent gale appeared out of nowhere and surged toward Yahiko like an ocean wave.

"Blood Demon Art: Cold White Princess!"

Yahiko calmly raised his hand.

Two ice-sculpted maidens appeared, one on either side of him, and opened their mouths at the same time.

Freezing air roared outward. Wherever it passed, even the wind froze in place.

Fūshin's expression changed.

Yahiko's strength had improved far too much compared to before.

When they first met, Fūshin could defeat Yahiko with certainty. Now, their positions had been reversed.

The freezing air continued toward him without losing momentum.

Fūshin had no choice but to evade with the Body Flicker Technique.

"Blood Demon Art: Shuriken!"

Yahiko pressed his advantage. His blood transformed into shuriken and flew toward Fūshin.

For a time, Fūshin was forced into a sorry state.

Chino watched with mixed feelings.

Even she could not push Fūshin this far in a fight.

Yet not long ago, Yahiko had been no match for him.

Natsuki was the reason for this outcome.

More precisely, it was because Yahiko had accepted Natsuki's blood.

The same was true for Konan.

Her strength was also rapidly approaching Chino and Fūshin's level.

"Typhoon Release: Great Violent Blast!"

Fūshin stopped and found an opportunity.

As he completed his hand seals, a violent typhoon immediately formed around him.

"Blood Demon Art: Winter Icicles!"

Yahiko swung both hands.

A large amount of blood transformed into icicles and rained down from the sky.

Yahiko shouted in surprise and delight.

Nagato and Konan hurried over to Natsuki as well.

"Natsuki-sama."

Chino and Fūshin followed behind them and greeted him.

"I only learned it last week."

Yahiko spoke with embarrassment. "It took me a little too long to understand it."

Chino and Fūshin were immediately speechless.

After unlocking Kami-e, his Konoha Six Powers were finally complete.

After practicing it for some time, he successfully mastered Super Strength.

Kushina snorted softly and released his clothes.

"All right."

Natsuki smiled. "Should your gift satisfy me, I'll secretly take you outside to have some fun."

"Really?"

Kushina's eyes lit up.

"When have I ever lied to you?"

Natsuki asked in return.

"You're not allowed to bring anyone else."

Kushina nodded and added another condition.

"It'll be just the two of us."

Natsuki gently pinched her cheek.

He had noticed that Kushina rarely went outside, so he planned to take her out for a while.

Although Anbu shinobi were monitoring her, he was still an Anbu squad captain. He could arrange for others to take over their shift.

Naturally, they would not leave Konoha.

As long as they remained within Konoha, Hiruzen would not say much even after learning about it.

"I'll be waiting for you! Don't be late!"

Kushina skipped away happily.

The third day of the New Year.

Natsuki woke up early and arrived outside Kushina's room.

He raised his hand and knocked on the door.

"Come in."

The first thing he saw was Kushina sitting beside the bed.

Kushina had changed into a black-and-white maid dress.

Her long red hair was tied back, and a pair of cat ears rested on her head.

The maid dress was mostly black, with white trim along the skirt.

Since Kushina was sitting beside the bed, the skirt spread neatly around her knees. She also wore black stockings.

"Good morning, Natsuki."

Kushina greeted him with a smile.

She lightly swung her legs back and forth.

"So this is your New Year's gift?"

Natsuki returned to his senses and asked.

"You don't like it?"

Kushina jumped down from the bed and stepped onto the carpet.

"It's cuter than the apron."

Natsuki reached out and touched one of her cat ears.

It was fluffy and felt quite pleasant.

"I knew you would like it."

Kushina smiled proudly, then glanced toward the door.

"Did the Anbu shinobi notice you when you came inside?"

"You don't need to worry about them."

Natsuki understood what she was thinking and said, "I'm an Anbu squad captain. I already told them not to follow you today."

"That's great!"

Kushina cheered. "Then let's sneak out right now!"

After speaking, she took out a pair of shoes and put them on.

"You're going outside dressed like that?"

Natsuki was slightly startled.

"It took me a long time to put this on. I don't want to change."

A conflicted expression appeared on Kushina's face.

"Then wear a coat over it."

Natsuki thought for a moment before making the suggestion.

"You're so clever!"

Kushina immediately opened the wardrobe and took out a coat.

Once she put it on, the maid dress underneath was completely hidden. The only remaining sign of it was the pair of cat ears on her head.

"We'll leave through the backyard."

Kushina grabbed Natsuki and pulled him outside.

The two of them quickly arrived in the backyard.

Natsuki climbed onto the wall and extended his hand.

Kushina took his hand and leaped up.

The two of them jumped down from the wall.

Outside the residence was a narrow path with trees on both sides.

Sunlight filtered through the branches and cast scattered patterns across the ground.

Kushina took a deep breath and felt an unprecedented sense of freedom.

Although there were not many restrictions on her life within the Senju clan compound, she still could not go outside whenever she pleased.

This was much better.

"Have you planned an escape before?"

Natsuki chuckled. "You looked very familiar with the process just now."

"I only planned it yesterday."

Kushina blinked. "But fortunately, it was a complete success on my first attempt."

"As expected of you."

Natsuki gave her a thumbs-up.

"Where are we going today?"

Kushina looked around while walking.

"We can go anywhere, but we have to stay inside Konoha today."

Natsuki paused and continued, "Once I learn a space-time ninjutsu similar to the Flying Thunder God Technique, I'll take you around the shinobi world."

"Okay."

Kushina was not disappointed. She smiled and said, "I'm looking forward to that day."

"You still haven't told me where you want to go."

Natsuki reminded her again.

"Let's try something adults do!"

Kushina suddenly thought of something and spoke excitedly.

Natsuki immediately looked confused.

"Let's go to a casino!"

Kushina waved her hand enthusiastically.

"A casino?"

Natsuki paused in surprise. "Has Tsunade-sensei influenced you?"

"Every time she mentions casinos, she sounds furious, so I became curious."

Kushina explained.

"Her gambling luck is terrible. She loses every time, so naturally she never has anything good to say about them."

Natsuki could not help laughing.

"Then let's test our own gambling luck!"

Kushina spoke with great determination.

"Fine."

Natsuki nodded and added, "But we'll need to use the Transformation Technique to enter the casino."

Neither he nor Kushina was an adult. Under Konoha's regulations, they were not allowed to enter casinos or drink alcohol.

However, they were permitted to kill people during missions.

Kushina grabbed his hand and quickened her pace.

The two of them soon arrived at a nearby casino.

After using the Transformation Technique, they successfully slipped inside.

"This casino is different from what I imagined."

Kushina noticed a slot machine nearby.

"Give it a try."

After exchanging some money for tokens, Natsuki handed one to her.

Kushina inserted the token into the slot machine.

The display began flashing.

"It has to be three sevens!"

Kushina clasped her hands together and prayed.

Clearly, her luck was not that good.

"Darn it!"

Kushina picked up another token. "Again!"

Natsuki sat beside her, caught a faint pleasant fragrance in the air, and smiled.

It was a proven fact that gambling could become addictive.

During New Year celebrations in his previous life, Natsuki's favorite activity had been playing mahjong with his friends.

Slot machines were somewhat similar.

"Three sevens!"

After an unknown amount of time, Kushina suddenly shouted.

The slot machine produced a cheerful sound and released a large number of tokens.

"Not bad."

Natsuki glanced at them. "At least you've earned back what you spent."

Kushina's face was flushed with excitement.

"Should we try something else?"

Natsuki suggested, "Since we're already here, we might as well try every game."

Kushina gathered the tokens and moved to another machine.

Time slowly passed.

The two of them continued playing until evening before leaving the casino.

"We won twenty thousand ryō!"

Kushina said happily.

Natsuki thought that Tsunade really was the exception.

How could a normal person lose every single time they gambled?

"Then we'll use this twenty thousand ryō to eat a feast."

Natsuki thought for a moment. "Since it's winter, we could try beef sukiyaki."

"Their cooking won't taste as good as yours."

Kushina tilted her head. "Let's buy the ingredients and go back so everyone can eat together."

"That works too."

Natsuki smiled. "Then I'll make my special version of sukiyaki. I call it hot pot."
