Chapter 114: Rias vs Sona - 2
"A familiar?"
Yasuhiro shook his head helplessly as he learned from Asia the reason why Rias and Sona were fighting on the field.
They planned to go to the familiar forest this month to find suitable familiars for the members of their peerages who didn't have one yet.
Among their peerages, only Issei and Ruruko didn't have familiars.
Subduing a familiar wasn't simply a matter of forcibly hunting it down.
Ideally, one would need a master who understood familiars.
Unfortunately, the familiar master Rias and Sona could find only accepted one request per month without exception.
Therefore, the scene before them had come to this point, with the girls deciding the winner using four different sports.
Yasuhiro stared speechlessly at the tennis ball in the air.
It was enveloped by their demonic power.
Was it really okay to use demonic power so openly in front of ordinary people?
Fortunately, these students were under some kind of charm.
"Tennis is such a dangerous sport," Asia spoke earnestly, preconceived notions already forming in her mind.
Yasuhiro sighed helplessly.
Asia already lacked common sense.
He would probably have to give her a good explanation when they got back home.
The two rivals, who were tied in tennis then played many other sports, all of which ended in a draw.
In the end, they even used their privileges at the academy to forcibly requisition the gymnasium and hold a dodgeball competition there.
"You two should stop here," Yasuhiro called out.
The sky was gradually darkening.
If they let it continue like this, they would probably have to eat dinner at the academy tonight.
Rias and Sona had an extraordinary obsession with victory, especially since their opponent was a person they grew up with.
Neither of them would back down an inch and they both expressed some annoyance at Yasuhiro's call to stop them.
Even though the two girls still harbored a lingering desire to continue, they ultimately heeded Yasuhiro's advice and stopped.
The peerage members on both sides breathed a sigh of relief.
This mentally exhausting sports competition had finally come to an end.
Both masters usually appeared quite wise and calm.
Though, when it came to competitions or duels between them...
This also signified the friendship between the two. They were both rivals and best friends who could depend on each other.
"If it's that familiar master then I know him."
"If I step in, perhaps he can make an exception for you and guide both groups in subduing your familiars." Yasuhiro offered.
Yasuhiro wasn't trying to trick them into stopping.
He genuinely knew the familiar master and if nothing unexpected happened, it should be the exact person Rias and Sona had mentioned.
"That's less important right now," Rias grumbled in dissatisfaction.
She was about to defeat Sona when this annoying Yasuhiro interrupted her, making her feel a little annoyed.
Because of what happened a few days ago, she didn't dare to be too willful in front of him.
If he punished her again, she wouldn't even know what to do.
Who knew how many devilish tricks this bastard was hiding for her?
If she were forced to be a maid again, her persona at the academy would collapse.
"In that case, all members will gather at the academy first thing tomorrow morning."
"We'll take care of your leave requests shortly, so don't be late tomorrow," Sona announced.
"Sona, you are lucky this time. The next victory will surely be mine," Rias whispered before leaving.
...
"Neither of them willing to give in," Akeno walked up to Yasuhiro and whispered.
She didn't dare to add fuel to the fire.
If she did something wrong, the anger might spread to her.
"This is for you," Yasuhiro said.
Before Akeno could react, Yasuhiro used a special method to directly imprint something into her mind.
He transferred the info regarding holy lightning that Baraqiel had left.
