Chapter 71 71: Akeno, are you ready to die?
"Photos? Could it be explicit photos of Rias?"
Akeno narrowed her eyes and walked over to Yasuhiro with deep curiosity.
"Akeno, don't look!" Rias spoke sternly as her face darkened.
It was bad enough that Yasuhiro had seen her in such an embarrassing state.
If the Akeno also saw these pictures, the final shred of dignity she held as a master in front of her would be completely gone.
"That makes me even more curious," Akeno replied.
They say a woman's curiosity can kill a cat and Akeno was no exception.
Seeing Rias look so nervous only made her more eager to see what the pictures contained.
"Oh my." The images captured Rias in various poses and expressions.
Whether it was embarrassment, shyness or smugness all of it was preserved.
Akeno didn't know whether to praise Yasuhiro's superb skills or to acknowledge his terrifying ability to make the usually composed Rias display so many embarrassing expressions.
For Rias, this was no less scandalous than a nude photo.
It was an entire archive of her most humiliating moments creating a record of her dark past.
"If this shot were taken from the front instead of the side, it would be even better." Akeno took a picture right out of Yasuhiro's hand.
It showed Rias looking shy and pitiful on the street, prompting Akeno to immediately start offering her critique.
Yasuhiro nodded seriously.
The photo had captured Rias's state, making her look like a fragile girl but a full frontal shot would've been nice too.
"A panoramic angle might be good but the charm of her expression would be lost."
"That's true. Rias with that profile is much more attractive to the opposite sex. Imperfection is the truest form of beauty."
"Ugh." As Akeno and Yasuhiro continued to critique the composition, Rias fell into total despair.
She covered her ears, buried her face in her hands and squatted down on the floor.
Expecting Akeno to help her was a massive mistake from the very beginning.
Not only was she refusing to help but she was also acting incredibly rude by casually discussing the photos right in front of her.
"Yasuhiro, may I make a copy of this?" Akeno asked. She never missed a chance to collect material on Rias.
"No!" Yasuhiro and Rias shouted in unison.
Yasuhiro refused to share them while Rias sounded panicked. If Akeno secured a copy, it'd just become another weapon for her to secretly tease and humiliate her with.
"When did you two get so in sync? Welp, how about I trade you for her past history?" Akeno covered her mouth and giggled.
"Akeno Himejima!"
To openly negotiate a deal about her embarrassing past right in front of her was a naked disrespect.
"Oh dear, Rias is angry." Akeno continued to poke at her last remaining nerves.
"Yasuhiro, I've quite a few unedited photos of her right here."
"Including pictures of her in the shower and even in the changing room. Are you interested?"
Yasuhiro sighed and rubbed his forehead in exasperation.
It seemed his hobby had led them to misunderstand his intentions.
He took photos out of a love for beautiful things. He didn't harbor any vulgar thoughts in his heart.
At most, he had a mischievous desire to tease Rias.
"Akeno, are you ready to die?"
Rias could tolerate Akeno asking for copies of her embarrassing photos.
Now that she dared to trade some R18 photos of her, the final thread of rationality in her mind finally snapped.

The furious attack was aimed directly at Akeno, who was standing right beside Yasuhiro.
Yasuhiro stepped aside and gestured for Akeno to handle it.
He decided to let Rias take out her anger on Akeno.
He wasn't going to get involved in this mess.
Akeno rolled her eyes at Yasuhiro.
Everything began because of him but now she had to deal with his mess.
