Dual World Apocalypse: My Harem Gives Me 10x Rewards

Chapter 87: [Weekly Bonus - 3/4] Step 87 to Greatness: One Must Take Advantage Of All The Loopholes

A few hours later, everyone was asleep, but Adrian was restless. It was the night of his second transmigration. He was too nervous to sleep.

That was also the reason he slept in a different room from Amika. In case something went wrong, he didn’t want her to be worried about him and unintentionally hurt the baby.

[Oh, you’re awake.]

The playboy ancestor’s familiar voice echoed in his head.

"About damn time!" Adrian snapped. "Do you have any idea how long I have been waiting for you people to do something?"

[Yeah, yeah. We have been waiting for you to do something as well.]

"...what?"

[Nothing. I’ll tell you later. First, let’s get you out of that body for now.]

"Out of the body—"

Before Adrian could even say the words, he was indeed yanked out of the body. How did he know that? Because he could see himself sleeping peacefully in the bed, while he floated alongside the Playboy Ancestor.

"Yo!" the ancestor waved at him. "Welcome back to the world of the dead."

"...Will I ever get a body of my own?" Adrian sighed as he looked down. "Wait a minute—!"

The physique he had gained in the Savage world remained with him even in his spiritual form! He couldn’t understand why it was the case, though he wasn’t complaining, to say the least.

Seeing his reaction, the Playboy ancestor couldn’t help but scoff.

"Heh, I told you we were doing all this to make you better, so why are you acting all surprised?"

"...you know we live in the Milky Way galaxy, but still you get amazed whenever you see its arm in the night sky, don’t you?" Adrian shot back. "Just because I know something, it doesn’t mean I won’t get surprised by it!"

"Alright, alright, don’t get your panties in a twist. How then, let’s proceed," the ancestor said, snapping his fingers.

As he did, the world around them changed, and Adrian was back in the spiritual realm along with his ancestors. Only this time, there were only four of them, not hundreds.

"Congratulations on surviving your first world hop," a burly voice said, slamming his hand on Adrian’s back.

Adrian shot forward from the blow. Thankfully, he was already in his spiritual form, or else his soul would have shot out of his body from such a warm reception.

"A brute shall always stay a brute," the scholar ancestor commented, hiding his mouth behind the paper fan. "You have done well, young one."

"Thanks..." Adrian replied, rubbing his sore back. "So what’s next...?"

"Now you must perform your second world hop," the supreme ancestors said, stroking his long beard. "However, before that, you get to select one of your gifts from the Savage world."

"...just one?"

Adrian wasn’t being greedy. It’s just that he had gained too many things there that he was confused about what to select. That’s why having more selections would have eased his burden.

"Yes, just one!" Scholar ancestor laughed. "You’re not taking any more than this time, haha—!"

No sooner had the scholar said that than a notification appeared before Adrian.

[Please select a gift to carry to the main continuity.]

[10x Blessing is in effect. You can carry 10 additional gifts to the main continuity.]

"You were saying?" Adrian asked, looking at the Scholar ancestor with a smug smile.

Meanwhile, the Scholar ancestor ignored him and turned to the Brute ancestor.

"You! This is all your fault! That ridiculous 10x blessing you gave him is ruining everything! I had a perfectly balanced plan, and now he gets to take ten gifts instead of one? Ten?!"

"Actually, it’s eleven," Adrian corrected him. "Since the 10x blessing gives additional rewards, it doesn’t take away my existing reward, hehe."

Adrian’s words only infuriated the Scholar ancestor more. However, unlike him, the Brute ancestor laughed loudly, slapping his knee, as enraging the Scholar was always a pleasant experience.

"Hah! The boy deserves it! He’s been working hard down there. A little extra reward never hurt anyone!" He laughed, keeping the Scholar ancestor at bay with one hand as he tried to hit the Brute ancestor.

"I have to agree with the brute on this one. The kid earned it, even though he kept pussing out of situations. Besides, watching the Scholar’s face turn that shade of red is worth it."

"What situation are you talking about?" Adrian yelled back as if he were insulted. "I never backed down from a challenge there—"

"Who pushed the samurai lady then?" Playboy ancestor laughed. "That too counts as a challenge, boy."

Before they could bicker anymore, the Supreme ancestor yelled at them.

"Stop this crude behavior at once! We don’t have much time, boy, select your gifts and begone!"

Adrian stood there, still grinning at the Scholar ancestor’s outburst. Meanwhile, the ancestor in question kept pacing around, muttering about how the 10x blessing kept throwing off his carefully laid plans and calculations.

"You! Don’t get too cocky just because you have ten choices. Choose wisely, or I’ll make sure the next world is twice as hard on you!" The Scholar ancestor yelled, turning back to Adrian and pointing at him with the paper fan.

"Yeah, yeah..." Adrian waved him off and began going through the list of his gifts. "Big Baller and 10x blessing are a must. Then my inventory is also important."

He continued, "All of my stats too. I’m not letting you reset them for every world. Same with the settlement system. It would be strange to see how it would adapt to the new worlds."

In the end, Adrian took everything he had gained on the Savage Earth and still had two slots remaining. He could have left them and chosen skills from some other world, but he chose not to leave anything.

After all, the Scholar ancestor was already talking about patching the loopholes. It was better to use what he could. But then, what else could he carry from the Savage Earth to his own world?

"Can I take my summoned units with me?" he asked absentmindedly.

As soon as he said that, all the ancestors froze to the spot and slowly turned towards the Scholar ancestor. He was the one responsible for most of the system-related things, and they didn’t expect him to leave a large enough loophole that allowed Adrian to ’carry’ people with him.

Unfortunately for them... that wasn’t the case.

The Scholar ancestor had left the said loophole...

"Muhehe..." Adrian smiled, rubbing his hands together.
