Chapter 29: Raining Slimes and Mimics
The army were positioned outside the portal. The Main defense force were the Warriors while the Mages were stationed to support and deal damage from their backs.
With their temporary team composition, they might have a more damage-based team. They don't have a tank yet and so they might have difficulties in defending.
While they were on the defending side, they must keep an offensive style. The best defense was the best offense they say. All should be on plan and the portal has to be protected. A mishap would lead to terrible consequences as the villagers inside were children, mothers, and elderly.
Rolan was still finding a way for his portal to be temporarily closed but his capabilities deemed him not to as he has limits. Still, Solomon was making a way for it to be closed. And so, he cast a barrier there first in case.
The army were ready, all were perspiring beads of sweat. They were tense when they were defending. It was the Warrior's third battle and they were still tense, how much more to the Mages which was their first?
They prepared to throw their magic missiles towards the undead as their hands glow with magic.
The warriors were holding their weapons. most of them were using swords. Brawlers used staffs or gauntlets, Berserkers were claws or two handed swords, Swordsmen were swords, Lifestealers were using curved daggers, and, Barbarians with axes and two handed weapons.
They were all on grounds while Rolan on the contrary was flying above. Looking at the incoming enemies that marched towards them. As he drifted in the air, he scanned that there was something off at the moment.
"Solomon, scan for entities that has a huge mana,"
