Chapter 114: Dragging Orario into the Illusionary World

"Illusionary Traveler..."

Finn mulled over the intelligence gathered from the Denatus.

As the absolute strongest Familias in Orario—and indeed the entire world—the Zeus Familia and Hera Familia naturally drew the gaze of the entire globe. Adding to their prestige, they had recently vanquished the Behemoth, solidifying their status as true heroes.

Since arriving in Orario, Finn and his Familia hadn't just clashed with lunatics like the Freya Familia; they frequently challenged the two reigning giants as well.

Despite suffering crushing defeats every single time, they never tired of trying.

His dream was to spread his name across the world, becoming a symbol of faith comparable to Fianna, all to instill hope and confidence in the oppressed Pallum race. To achieve that, becoming a "Hero" was an absolute necessity.

He possessed a resilient will, lofty goals, grand ideals, and an upright moral compass, yet he was also capable of making ruthless sacrifices when necessary. Except for a slight lack of narcissism, he was practically a flawless "Vessel of a King," much like Sinbad.

Accordingly, the Zeus Familia and Hera Familia thought very highly of the Loki Familia and Freya Familia. Both Finn and Ottar exhibited immense potential.

Even the Empress herself couldn't help but praise Ottar's sheer tenacity.

In the original timeline, a generational gap had left Ottar stuck at Level 7 for an extended period, but it also resulted in his attributes exceeding even Zald's. Aside from magic, every single one of his attributes had reached the absolute peak—the mark of a true hero.

As for Finn, his strength lay in a different arena.

In the original story, beyond his role as an adventurer, the Guild positioned him as the ultimate supreme commander. He wasn't just directing a single Familia; he was meant to command all of Orario, and eventually, all the adventurers participating in the Black Dragon subjugation war.

Thus, the two of them represented two vastly different peaks: the pinnacle of individual might, and the pinnacle of strategic intellect.

But that was only in the original story. Lucian's arrival in this era, along with the introduction of magic perfectly suited for a 21st-century transmigrator—where "imagination equals power"—guaranteed this era would undergo a catastrophic paradigm shift.

Lucian even suspected that his personal priority in this world might have surpassed that of Bell. This was a conclusion drawn from observing and analyzing the threads of destiny.

"Is there a problem?"

Inside the office, Riveria asked from the side.

"To reach the depths that the two Great Familias ventured into, even a healer needs to possess abilities equivalent to a Level 4."

"The information released by the Guild regarding this 'Illusionary Traveler' is incredibly vague. We only have a name and a Familia. They didn't even specify his actual level."

Finn pondered, "My intuition tells me this person is far from simple."

Information gathering and analytical skills were prerequisites for any Familia captain, let alone someone like Finn, who was the very soul of the Loki Familia.

Yet, even Finn could never have imagined that Lucian had reached Level 3 in a mere month, and that his actual combat prowess had already completely shattered the boundaries of mortal adventurers.

The demigod power granted by the Seed of Authority, combined with the Omnipotence Trait, meant Lucian could effectively ignore the concept of levels entirely. Or rather, his "true level" was already incomprehensibly high.

But this true level wasn't based on the basic attributes of a Falna; it was determined by energy reserves, energy density, and the fundamental differences brought by his Seed of Authority.

As far as this world was concerned, Lucian's abilities were a massive rule-break, something completely beyond imagination.

Lacking concrete intelligence, Finn and the others could only pay closer attention to Lucian, unable to truly grasp the whole picture.

But that very night—an unexpected event occurred.

When the clock struck midnight, everyone who was fast asleep was suddenly dragged into a world of illusions.

"Reality Marble: Random Labyrinth."

Once the designated time arrived, the power of illusions spread across the entirety of Orario, pulling everyone within the city limits into a dreamscape.

Though it was a projection of an inner landscape onto the outside world, because it was built entirely on the power of illusions, it functioned as a dream world.

He didn't need to overwrite reality with his physical body; he simply projected his inner world into a dreamscape, then cast that dreamscape over all of Orario.

"Where is this..."

Finn stared at the scene before him, momentarily stunned.

A boundless, starry sky surrounded them. They stood on an elevated platform, and peering over the edge revealed a bottomless abyss.

Uniform marble walls boxed them in, with only a single direction offering an entryway.

The adventurers around him were in a state of chaotic confusion. Looking closely, every single person present was a member of the Loki Familia.

"Loki, and everyone else..."

Finn looked at the familiar faces, quickly analyzing the situation. "It seems our entire Familia has been brought here. Is this a dream?"

Before arriving, they had all been fast asleep—no one disputed that fact. Naturally, people changed into sleepwear for bed, and some even preferred sleeping completely naked.

None of them had any memory of changing clothes, yet everyone present was wearing their standard daytime adventuring gear. Thus, a "dream" was the most plausible explanation.

"If it's a dream, isn't it a bit too realistic?"

Riveria furrowed her brows. "And what kind of absurd power could pull our entire Familia—including Loki—into a place like this?"

As the group analyzed the situation, their gazes naturally drifted toward Loki.

"Yup, it's definitely a dream,"

Loki squinted her eyes, praising the construct. "This is the boundary between fantasy and fiction, a man-made dream world."

"We're in a dream, but we also have physical substance here. To think a child of the Lower World could create a world like this... color me surprised."

"What does that mean?" Finn's expression turned grave.

"It means that while this is a dream, getting hurt here means actually getting hurt, and dying here means actually dying." Loki warned. "Don't go thinking it's just a dream and try jumping off the edge."

Hearing that, everyone instantly quieted down, sucking in sharp breaths of cold air. Their initial curiosity was immediately replaced by a heavy dose of caution.

"Are you saying this world was artificially created?" Finn asked.

"Spot on."

Loki raised a hand, and a flicker of flame sprang to life over her palm. "There's something else that surprised me. In this world, the seal on my divine power has been lifted to the equivalent of a Level 4."

Loki was the Goddess of Deceit and Trickery, but also a Goddess of Fire. Though she appeared female in this world, she was famously flat-chested; even an average man had more curves than her.

"Level 4 is the highest rank we have in the Familia," Riveria added.

Finn, Riveria, and Gareth—the three executives—were all Level 4. Aside from them, there were some veteran adventurers who had joined the Loki Familia later in life. They were past their prime, and their potential had severely declined.

"Wait... does that mean you can use Arcanum in this world?"

Finn immediately grasped the severity of the situation.

Just how terrifying was a world capable of sustaining the raw power of the gods?! Just thinking about it sent shivers down his spine.

"No use overthinking it. But I'd guess... since they dragged me and my Familia in here, they must have some sort of goal."

Loki narrowed her eyes. "Let's wait a bit. If nothing happens, we'll just have to head through that entrance and start exploring."

They were surrounded by a void on all sides. The only things present were the platform they stood on and a single entryway.

The mastermind's intent was obvious: they wanted them to enter and explore. But what their ultimate goal was... that remained a total mystery.
